If you want lobster or fish this is the place in Komiza. My John Dory was very good and the. Lobster was nice. The local white wine was the highlight of the evening.

Whilst travelling around Croatia on Yacht Week (black route, week 32 2016), we were looking for somewhere to accommodate our crew of 13 individuals who were very hungry and looking for a great feed... We were able to sit altogether and order a mix of fish, seafood, meat and vegetables, along with bread and wine. There was an excellent range... More

This restaurant has a unique Location in Komiža and is famous with lobsters on different variation. I am coming in this restaurant regulary every summer and have to notice that there is no improvement in recent time. And there is a lot of potential for improvement in Wine list and servis. 1 kg lobster is ca 80€ and this is... More

A restaurant with a long tradition definitely, a place with the name and that is why I came here in the first place. Funny setting with water all around is definitely worth a visit!

Ate here with a large group family style so we got to try lots of their dishes. We picked out a few whole fish for the table. Food was all excellent. The best park about the restaurant is the view. Also, if you are sailing you can take your dingy right underneath the restaurant, tie it up and then eat.

We had lunch there in August 2016. Restaurant was completely empty for lunchtime and we loved the fact that we can choose any table on a beautiful terrace next to the sea. Restaurant is nice, old fashioned type of "Konoba". Washroom is fairly small and should be definetly improved considering location, tradition and prices this restaurant has. First impression for... Nice restaurant with regional cuisine you can either enter from the city ...or boat inside (small dinghy).

Jastozera restaurant is the last of three restaurants tucked away down a street. The first two restaurants we passed were very busy however we had decided to eat at the Jastozera because of the good reviews on Tripadvisor. Strangely the restaurant wasn’t busy I suppose because people had stopped at the other restaurants on the way down. We didn’t regret... More

Since it was yacht week we decided to reserve table by the sea three days in advance. As we arrived few minutes before our time waiter told us that there are no free tables by the sea, but there will be one in couple of minutes. First table was free while we were having a desert. During our dinner which... More

We found upon Konoba Jastozera while taking a walk around the quieter side of Komiza. One of three restaurants tucked away down a side street, the restaurant looks fabulous and has a great feel from the moment you arrive. My girlfriend had heard about the table in the alcove overlooking the bay, so we booked for the following evening. Unfortunately,... More

Description
Tavern Jastozera is located south of a fortress that was built at the end of the 15th century connecting two cliffs and creating a natural open air sea pool for breeding lobsters. It was established in 1883. and since has been owned by the family Marinkovic - Mestrezane. It was fully renovated in 2015. The renovation has been completed in order to bring the past to a higher level. We are proud to offer living lobsters and to prepare them according to your taste, using organic ingredients. We also offer the finest selection of wild cought fish as well as the finest quality meat. Sailors, dine with us! Berth is for free at the west wall of the restaurant. You're all welcome!
