Delicious food and super friendly services. Parking is limited but worth the wait. Their chicken chimichangas are my favorite!
The restaurant was clean and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and hot and delicious. The tortillas tasted homemade and fresh. Everything was excellent!
Food was served hot and fast. Willing to cater to food choices and adjust menu items to create desired meal. Friendly attentive staff. Price of food is appropriate for quality.
The service is very good! They advertise good service; they deliver it! What really stood out to me were the fantastic flavors from everything item on the plate. It was all seasoned perfectly. Nothing Bland here; it was a very enjoyable lunch! I had the...# 20 which was 2 chicken (pick your favorite filling) enchiladas, a taco and a tostado (it may have been called a chalupa on the menu). I added a side of refried beans. My wife had the Arroz con Pollo. The seasoning and flavors of both meals were delicious and they were big plates of food. Chilango’s serves the thin style tortilla chips and a nice mild salsa. It has great flavors of garlic, a little cilantro and maybe a hint of jalapeno. It is not too hot for those that like it mild. I asked for the hot salsa. I really like it when restaurants have a version of salsa I have never had, and they do. Their hot and spicy salsa is like the gravy or sauce you find in a good bowl of chili. It is served cold. It is heavily loaded with chili powder, other spices and enough heat to meet your needs for a good hot salsa! It was delicious. The restaurant is clean and the staff was thoughtfully working to keep it that way. Their air conditioner may have been having a little problem today. It was a little warm in there, so I did not order my usual chili toreado to go with the meal. The restrooms are clean, but not too much larger than those on a small commercial aircraft. Prices are great, the service s is good, and the menu is large. It may be best Mexican food in Tahlequah. It is certainly the best I have had so far.More
Chilangos food is wonderful, the drinks are good and staff is very polite. Nice atmosphere as well. The location of the restaurant is convienient. I will definitely go back.
We eat here frequently. They have daily lunch specials that make it even more affordable (like only $4 or $5 for your meal AND a drink included!). Service is so-so, just taking a while to get someone's attention to refill your drink. But it's family-owned...and they do aim to please. Very friendly staff. Also, their refried beans and guacamole are both made fresh! No powdered mixes! (They're the only Mexican restaurant in town who do!)More
This is sub/par Mexican food at best everything tasted out of a can and like tomato paste. For the money I can open a can at home. I had chile verde that was pork chunks in an overwhelming tomatillo sauce that was too salty. No...recommendation from me.More
Seriously everything tastes good and they have a huge menu. I always stop when I'm in Tahlequah. And again, the prices are VERY REASONABLE!!
Whenever we choose which Mexican restaurant to eat at in the quah, i choose this one as my top choice! Arroz con Pollo is my go to comfort food! But everything on the menu is great. Service is also an A+.
Always Excellent food and service. Wonderful lunch specials. Reasonably priced dinner menu too. You can't go wrong.
I'm used to having a selection of restaurants for Mexican food. The selections were great but the food was not. I'm used to spicy Mexican and both items ordered by my wife and I were totally bland. The salsa tasted like it was poured from...a jar. The queso was just as bland. Neither one of us finished our meals because of a lack of flavor. Also, we were there within 75 minutes of opening and the floor was a mess. I can tell you, this place was NOT vacumned the night before. The sign out front says authentic Mexican food. I guess I should be wary of a restaurant that has to advertise about being "authentic". This place might be okay for the people of this town, but if Chilangos had more competition the food might improve.. --I hate Taco Bell, but I would recommend them over Chilangos..More
We always enjoy eating at Chilangos. Our favorite Mexican food restaurant. The Nacho Fajitas are my favorite dish.
I have been here many times and I have not been disappointed. The menu has a lot of choices and the prices are very reasonable, everything I have tried I have liked. The service is friendly and I am always made to feel welcome. The...restroom is terribly small but it is clean.More
I love Chilangos. I have eaten there quite a bit, and every time has been great. I love the choices on their menu and I've loved everything I've tried. The chips and salsa are perfect. Add queso and it's even better!
