Popped in late one evening for a meal. The kitchen was just closing but the chef was convinced to rustle up fish and chips for 4. Delicious! Wished we had the opportunity to try some of their curry. Perhaps another time. Our server was lovely, and very patient with our late arrival.

The food in this hotel is excellent, particularly the Indian dishes. The staff are friendly and very helpful, and sorted out one or two problems we had immediately. The beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water, but it all seemed rather in need of an update. We were surprised that it was so empty on a Saturday night, and we... More

I've been coming to the tree for a couple years now. I have never gone home feeling dissatisfied. The staff are fantastic, they make you feel right at home. ALL of the curries are amazing, and recently I've been having the corn fed chicken. Delicious! Of course i will be coming back. Recommended.

We had a group booking of 6 rooms. We arrived about 40 mins after the rest despite being a glorious sunny Saturday the bar was closed (what a waste of outside space and opportunity ) He said he was expecting 15 lots of people to check in - does that not warrent him opening the bar ? He was there... More

This is when it looks like this accommodation was last decorated and bathrooms installed. Four poster bed had a cheap mattress which was too small for it, with pillows so old they were almost flat. The bathroom was dated, sink cracked, the tiles around the shower area over bath covered in black and pink mound and generally dirty with splash... More

I went with a business colleague for lunch recently, and we had the £5.99 Special Lunch. The food was very good - and especially all the extra side dishes we ordered. Amazing value. Genuine Indian Food.

We had dinner at The Tree recently but whereas we were expecting a menu of both oriental and European food, it turned out that the only European food was a chicken dish or steak. However, the steak was well cooked and tasty. It was very quiet, with only two other tables occupied. The waiting staff were friendly, although I had... More

We were staying the night at The Tree at Cadmore. The meal in the restaurant was lovely, the flavours and presentation were spot on. The decor in the restaurant was warm and cosy. During our over night stay, all the staff we came across were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a great dinner and breakfast.... More
