I had dinner at Alla Borsa's on a Saturday evening in May. I knew the restaurants as my family had several formal lunches there some 20 years ago (my own holy communion, my parents' 25th anniversary...). It's a classic for locals, and I grew up in the area. I went with my husband and we had a very quiet dinner,... More

My wife and I happened on this restaurant after a morning cycle on the Mincio river. It would be hard to do justice to the quality of the lunch we had here. They say that pasta is a religion for them and they must be quite devout because the meat tortellini sage and butter we had here was the best... More

We dined at Alla Borsa, a group of 5 adults and 2 children under 4y/o. We came in without a reservation and were seated right away. The staff was welcoming, worm and quick, despite the fact that only one waiter knew some English :) The food came to table surprisingly soon after we ordered and was DELICIOUS! (All dishes ordered... This is a house owned by a family which they have a restaurant in their house, we arrived 9 pm, we ordered dinner and all the food including the steak was re-heated. Their pasta is good but again it is being re-heated. All the staff are friendly and smiling but the service is poor.

Their fresh pasta is something unbelievably delicious. Good wine too. We had the cheese selection and that was not impressive though. Old fashion - in its best possible way!- place and service. Definitely to try.

One of our favorites at Lake Garda and a must every time we are there. Tortellini are amazing here and service is always prompt and helpful. The restaurant is run by the owner family and quality of the food is always perfect. Make sure you try the different varieties of tortellini.

If you wanna enjoy some great Italian food like Tortellini, this is the right place you're looking for. The Tortellini are delicious and totally worth it. It is expensive, but the food is just great and the waiters are kind and friendly. Must-visit!

From the beginning, the waiter didn't even bother to open the door for us- that should have been warning enough, considering Italians are so welcoming. Decoration and ambiance dull- second there. Menu long and complicated, so we opted to go simple just onion soup and chateaubriand for the both of us. Add to this one bottle of local wine and... More

I tried this restaurant in various occasion some years ago. I have a great memory of the Tortellini Tris. This assortment of three kinds of tortellini, each one is filled in a different way (beet tops, meat, pumpkin), is served with different sauces so it's possible tasting different combination: delicious

Tortellini, the "love knot," was invented in this region, and nobody does it better. My husband and I travel to Alla Borsa annually from the USA, lest we go into withdrawal. Their fish carpaccio and their homemade mostarda are also extraordinary. And the Murano water glasses add true beauty. We love this place. You become family. There is no greater... More

Description
The restaurant is located in the village centre and was formerly a "trattoria" where the merchants of the village met to complete contracts. Because of this reason it was called "Borsa", which means "stock market". The name has been retained even years later, when the old tavern was taken over by Alceste Pasquali and his wife Albina Stanghellini who lead the restaurant since 1959. Enjoy local cuisine, personally prepared by Mrs. Albina, in a modern ambience with traditional flair. In cooperation with a first class team of cooks and waiters, the owners Alceste and Albina and their daughter Nadia ensure a high-quality, attentive service, combined with an excellent quality of the served specialties. The restaurant (with air conditioning in the interior), offers a garden for the warm season, overlooking the old ,,castle scaligero".
