I visited this restaurant last year in winter, beautiful home style Italian cooking service excellent fabulous views, I have just revisited in January and while the food and service were of the same standard but I have to say that I was expecting a summer menu not the sort of food that I was offered in winter, very disappointed .

The first thing that strike us was the view and the location of the place. It's in the middle of no where, with the view of the ocean. Food wise, nothing much to write home about, it's average Italian fair, and on par with whatever you can find on Lygon St. I was hoping for something more rustic and local.... More

Visited this restaurant on Cape Schank and from the drive through the olive grove to the restaurant with its stunning views over vineyards to the water, it did not disappoint. The food is first class and the service is friendly and prompt. Cannot recommend the hidden gem too highly. This was our second visit and would definitely visit a third... More

My wife and I have travelled around Italy 60 times over 45 years. 16 years ago we visited this property before what it is today. Sunday was our first time back. We were there for lunch with friends. It is better than the best of its type of restaurant in Italy. We can't believe we have missed this restaurant all... More

Friends gathered for a 70th birthday lunch at his scenic restaurant and greatly enjoyed the ambience, staff and menu available - although no prices appeared on the menu board . We asked if it was a set menu and were told 'no" so can't comment on price range except we split the food bill between us at $50 per head... More

we had the 3 course set menu which was absolutely delicious...or as Jamie Oliver would put it...'real honest good food'! Loved every bite. The only disappointment was that we booked a month ahead so we could get a window seat, and when we arrived, there were none there. They gave us a glass of bubbles each to make up for... More

Nestled in the middle of the Mornington Peninsula, high on a slope surrounded by olive groves, is this charming Italian restaurant. Family run restaurant, friendly wait staff. Was a fixed menu the Sunday we visited. Delicious tasting plate to share, followed by a choice of about 6 mains. The popular bolognese lasagne was mouth-watering. Managed to squeeze in the ice... We stumbled across this place road sign whilst out driving and thought lets have a look. We drove up the long dusty gravel road and thought we would never get there. Once we finally found the place we were presently surprised at how nice it looked, unfortunately this is where anything good about this place ever got! We went up... More

We had lunch with my wife as it was recommended to us. Firstly the drive to the restaurant is very interesting as we drive along the national park. The view from the restaurant overlooks the valley, olive grove, the ocean. Make sure u asked to be seated in the main room. We had the set lunch for $70 ahead. The... More
