We went with the intention of doing the biltong and wine pairing which was a little disappointing. We then decided to do the wine and chocolate pairing which proved to be outstanding. The difference being is that Durbanville Hills has had chocolates custom made by a chocolatier in Knysna to pair with a specific wine - which brings out the... More

The venue is excellent. Great views and good pictures can be taken here. Pity that a view will not fill your tummy..... However, there is something drastically wrong in the kitchen. A simple egg and beacon dish cannot be so difficult to produce. It came with sausage that was underdone! A request for a simple tomato cocktail was also an... More

We kicked off our SA holiday with a light lunch and wine tasting - Amazing views and great food. The wine was lovely and it surprised me that we decided on the Chennin Blanc and not the Sauvignon Blanc to purchase for our holiday - Both great wines though - A great relaxed environment to enjoy a glass of wine... We visited here for the crystal wine tasting ( very reasonably priced) on a Saturday afternoon. The ambiance was very restful and the view was beautiful. We ordered the meat and cheese platter and were not disappointing at all.

The restaurant and wine tasting room have fabulous views over Cape Town, Table mountain and Robben Island. We have visited this beautiful place many times. Always good service and friendly waiters. The Durbanville Hills Sauvignon Blanc is an excellent wine and very good priced. The food was great. The sculptures on display makes it more than your average wine tasting... More

Went to the restaurant for a friends reunion, the welcoming was warm, the service (from our Portuguese waitress) was outstanding, the food was amazing! All in all the best meal and service we have experienced so far in Cape Town!

We came for Sunday lunch and were impressed from the moment we placed our booking. I had the Eland with pecan nut souffle and pear and almond tart. My husband did the wine paring and had the duck and fillet. Around the table there was not one dish that disappointed. Portions were more than ample. Service was good and venue... More

What a lovely view. We tried the biltong wine paring. Very interesting combination. Suggest combining it with a chocolate pairing. Limited menu at wine tasting. Upstairs restaurant offers fine dining. Would love to see a more interesting menu downstairs. Sandwiches on a chilly day does not cut it for me. We ordered two cases of wine which was delivered to... Great place to go on a sunny day in Cape Town. Food is great with amazing views of Table Bay. Amazing sunset pictures. The wine is amazing and they have a great wine tour. A must visit.
