Despite very nice location by the river, our visit was terrible choice, waiters were good but food is awful in summary. Beef tortilla was worst dish i have ever tried (wife ordered), couldnt chew beef at all. Pork ribs were sub avarage. Only good thing...were potatos. Not recommendedMore
Excellent place by the river Krka for cosy afternoon and chatting with friends. Great food and really nice stuff. Prices are reasonable and parking is near to the restaurant.
If you like to eat near water, then this is the right place. The staff is very kind. They don't have to much choice for food, but that what they have is excellent. Dogs friendly.🐶
We had an excellent lunch here, fresh trout, garden salad, house white wine in a scenic, relaxed setting riverside. Mojca made it a truly memorable occasion by introducing us to Slovenian wines with an impromptu tasting.
Food was OK, if a little cold. Waiter seemed clueless. No idea if the schnitzel was pork, turkey or chicken. Also unhappy about swapping the set menu deserts for ice cream for the kids after we waited a REALLY long time for the food. Shame,...as its a nice location.More
Positive surprise. Waiter polite. Entering salad with grilled squids. Main dish; ribs with BBQ sauce and risotto with sea food and pumpkin. Well done plates.
Upon arrival, the waiter who served us was very unfriendly, arrogant. He didn't even wipe the table, he threw a lunch menu on it and asked what we were going to drink, when we asked about the ala cart menu he wasnt very happy and...threw it on the table. We got food after 45 minutes of waiting, we ordered pizza and fried cheese. We asked for the bill twice. We waited for him for 10 minutes. We had a degustation menu. It was very tasty, we had tuna carpaccio, penne with gamberi and zucchini, branzino with mushrooms and prawns, for dessert chocolate cake.
It could be better. The choice of the performers should be good, but they didn't impress us. Guest House Loka is TOP. Quick service. Friendly staff. Space big. Atmosphere appropriate
We came here for lunch and left sated and happy. Appetizer was delicious beef carpaccio with horseradish and hefty portion of delicious garlic soup. Main was ribs with potatoes and chicken with hazelnuts and štrukli - both were excellent. We drank the house wine which...is pretty good. There is an extensive wine list though, with wines ranging from 20 to 60 euros approx. Dessert was Rafaelo cake which was also splendid. Alltogether it was around 40€ for 2 people, one of which can eat a lot. The service was very kind and fast and unobtrusive. The interior is very well maintained and maybe needs some touch ups (paintings don't really go with the vibe of the place) but it is easily overlooked since the food is really tasty. Looking forward to coming back.More

The most obvious asset of this restaurant is its setting by the river, where it is a pleasure to sit outside but under cover in the early evening in summer. The food is good, well cooked and served and the service is obliging and attentive....Try the superb garlic soup!More
