This place was recommended by the landlady of our B&B. We ate well (a mouth watering braised beef in wine) and drank well (a splendid red Corithus wine), but the atmosphere was a bit lacking because of the loudness and the constant hectic of the servers. Also the light were somewhat glaring. The name of the restaurant is really fitting.... More

We had lunch here mid week. It was very good! The place was busy including a birthday aprty and obviously popular with locals. Food was excellent and the service was very good despite being busy. Modest prices too.

This is a small place, with maybe 20 tables inside. If the weather is good, they set more tables on the place. The food is very good, cooked at perfection and simply made, which is the great plus of Italian cooking. Prices are low, a bargain considering the quality. Highly recommended!

A lovely find. We arrived ten minutes after the kitchen closed for lunch but they offered us the option of two dishes and seated us anyway. We had a delicious winter soup and a half litre of wine - excellent wine despite being cheap! The owner even took us down to the basement to tell us a bit of history... More

The location was very convenient, just across the street from our hotel, at the very center of the old walled city. The food was good, but we were sitting in one of the small rooms of the restaurant and were completely neglected. Try to stay in the main entrance room, if you want a regular service provided!

We had a starter plate that had four different starters which were delicious but would have been enough for the whole meal.... choices of pastas and fish and meats...we all had something different to try a little of each.. dessert was spectacular.....fruits filled the matching sorbets.....you really did not want to open them and they were each exquisite....a walnut....with walnut... This is an authentic place, good both for locals as well as for travellers. It is a no-nonsense restaurant. The food is fabulous, the prices honest and affordable, the portions generous, the ambiance is great. You will come out of here happy and satisfied. RECOMMENDED!

Food was okay, a bit pricey for its location. The antipasto was really nice, with a nice assortment of cold cut meats and local bruschetta's. My pasta dish was very bland, however the other three dishes we ordered were very nice. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I would probably go back here if I went back to Tarquinia.

Lovely fresh food - pleased to find a children's menu. Highlights included the fish with chickpeas, the super salad, and the fresh pasta. Nice location to sit outside on an evening.
