Being late Seotember, we ate indoors. After being initially ignored for minute by the male waiter, a lovely young girl greeted and seated us. We enjoyed everything we had, especially the tempura vegatables and traditional pasta. We also enjoyed a superb bottle of wine at a very reasonable price. We would recommend this restaurant and reading a recently written review,... More

We ordered the orrechiette with gorgonzola, rocket and basil, which was heavy due to the cheese, but tasty. The mixed salad with shaved carrot was fresh and delightful. The bad part came after the meal. I went to the restroom and discovered that there was no soap and no running water at the faucet. Assuming that the staff also use... More

After wandering round the ancient town, this was a great find with cool indoor eating. The grilled vegetables and meatballs with zucchini to start were good but did not compare with the sliced rib of beef and tomato salad cooked to perfection.

We ate a fine meal perched between two buildings, and shared the noises of the city as it came to dinner time, guitars playing, music spilling, voices bouncing off walls. We were thoroughly entertained, and fed. It was out last night in a lovely town.

The picture shows you can eat in the street al fresco, and this is probably a better choice. Don't eat inside, as it's totally impersonal, white walls, old economy bulbs, "closed" smell, a waitress eager to do well but who watches you eating at the table (we were almost alone that night in the main dining room) from 2 meters... Had dinner here and found it to be good food but nothing special. Service wasn't particularly friendly but acceptable. Nicer inside than it looks from outside.

Average Trattoria, food OK, bread basket boring, Staff not very friendly OK for a quick lunch but do'nt expect anything exceptional. Surprised by all the Michelin guide ratings on the door.

We ordered the grilled vegetables--THE best ever in Italy--a local pasta dish---NOTHING to write home about (actually, could have skipped), and a grilled steak--which was very decently prepared. The bread basked was BORING; I don't think we even touched it. The service was courteous, but certainly NOT Michelin worthy. Much like in most Italian Trattorias, the server brought us bottled... Right in the middle of the historic centre of the city. Good food cooked in the open kitchen and presented with a great range of the renowned local wines as well as the best of the rest. I particularly enjoy the Fried meatball and battered courgette flower starter then the local version of mixed grill.

Not overly impressed, food wasn't anything special. The waiter wasn't overly helpful. It's not a place I would go back to.
