The welcome was nice, however the atmosphere of the restaurant and tableware is from decades ago. The restaurant advertises as serving gastronomic F&B which is definitely not the case. The starters as well as the main courses were all blend, not properly cooked, just tasteless. We skipped dessert as we were sure we would be disappointed again. All this came... More

Pretty good for a small quiet rural hotel. Three fixed price menus and a la carte selections. Kidneys were superb.

As the village is so small you wouldn't expect to find top restaurants, the menu is quite limited but extremely authentic French, the food was nice nothing spectacular.

4 persons having different kind of food, Peppersteak, Entrecote, Kidneys and Fish - everything was so perfect. Dessert - we were all in heaven :-) The staff - our waiter - he was funny, helpful and speaks very good english. Recommend this restaurant to everyone.,

We ate here as there was nowhere else open. It was empty and had no atmosphere a little like a truck stop. Food was below average and very expensive for what it was. €85 for 2 main courses 1 cheese plate with two very small pieces of cheese, 2 coffees, 3 champagne and a tomatoe juice. Our first poor meal... More

Try the rognon de veau with mustard sauce. Wonderful. The "Selection de Terroire" section on the menu will give you a great experience of the local cuisine. The owner is a wonderful french monsieur and he will help you select a good wine for your meal. Try the expensive collection of armagnacs to the coffee. This place has Character with... More

we have already stopped several times in this restaurant at noon to have a main course. You are served in a quick way (where not in France...) and the food is of a good quality. The food is not very original but it is what you expect of it. Don't drink champagne in a restaurant like this because it is... More

Haha, we stayed in the attached hotel and the staff send us to this restaurant. It was full light in the place so don't expect a romantic night. They music is very very soft so if you are alone every word is heard and you have the feeling you need to whisper. There was a pretty young girl working there... More

This is the second time I've dined here, both because it was the only restaurant open in Vertus. Although the food is perfectly adequate, the prices are a little steep and the service isn't amazing.

Nothing in this restauraunt except for the food... 70 euros for 2 main courses and half bottle of champagne (which has a higher premium price than in a normal european city...incredible!). The steak was terrible as all the rest (try the base of the cake!). But what has been really bad was the pressure to order, pay and go. No... More
