They are cheating here - please avoid if possible there are many places around to eat tasty. We arrived for lunch and I being a vegan ordered simple pizza siciliana that costs 5.5EUR and coffee 1.5 EUR, total 7EUR. My colleagues took lunch for 11EUR (two meals, water and coffee included) . They charged me 11.5EUR (!!!!) including water and... More

Food comes cold and late, service lacks of attention. Good for having a drink next to the Lake Lugano.

On our first night in Ponte Tresa we went to the closest restaurant for a quick pizza. they were not that good. At least not the crispy pizza I would expect. Worst was that the white wine we ordered was not cold at all. Not a place to go back to again.

First, the sound of the fridges in the restaurant was annoying, music would have helped. Hopefully the lake view was charming. We had some Gnocchi with Funghi di Porcini, that was OK, and the quantity was really satisfying. We ordered a Pana cota and a Gelato Stracciatella as desserts, the Pana cota's sauce was quite chemical and the ice cream... More

The staff seemed really rude at this restaurant ( should say the woman) the one guy who was working seemed to be the most friendliest of them. However we still managed to get the wrong order and a burnt pizzza. It was very cheap in comparision to other places so not sure if its a case of what you get... More

We went to eat here as it looked really nice being on the lake, sadly that was the only nice thing. Anti Pasti, well I could have done a better job, Spaghetti Carbonara, stodgy, and Green stuff they called salad, not even with dressing. The Pizza wasn't too bad, but then I suppose you can't do too much wrong to... More

Whilst staying in Lavena Ponte Tresa we tried this hotel based restaurantfor lunch. The main area is in the basement of the hotel and then there was also an area overlooking the lake but this was too cold to sit in during the winter. The main customers here were of a very mature age eating the menu of the day.... More

We visites this restaurant on the basis of the previous reviews, but wish we had not. Both the veal steak, the sea food salad and the pizzas were rather tasteless. Most probably the food had been frozen and was rubbery (the veal as well as the sea food, on the pizza and in the salad). Even my daughter's Pizza Marghuerita... More

We were in the area and were looking for somewhere nice to have lunch. The restaurant is located just across the border from Switzerland and our first impression was not to enter. We usually avoid restaurants with pictures of the food on display to entice us. The interior design of the restaurant was dated to say the least and at... More

In order to find this place, you mus either know it or use a GPS. I have a friend who knows it, so she took us right there, and we were happy. Even if from the outside the place looks quite terrible, inside it is definitely better, much better. I had pasta and a mixed fried (sea) food, and I... More
