Visited on Saturday at 6:30pm with a group of 11. Initially there was some confusion over whether they were still serving food as the menus state they stop at 6. It was as we were leaving that we were told they were in fact still serving. To say the menu was limited would be an understatement, with around 6 main... More

Had cumberland sausage, big portions, well cooked and served by good friendly staff. The choice was more than enough also had the house wine perfectly fine

Great atmosphere, food looked great (didn't order, but will do when we next visit) Plenty of room for all and well positioned screens to view when enjoying sporting events.

Went for late lunch, limited choice on the menu with the usual suspects ' pub classics'. Tables were sticky and decor dated. Friendly landlord and waiter. I had chilli on a jacket with a lovely side salad, my husband had the burger that was clearly a frozen one and the 'homemade' onion rings were also frozen. We got what we... More

The view across Morcambe Bay to the Lakeland mountains is magnificent. The food is good value for money and delicious. The staff are helpful and hardworking and make for a comfortable atmosphere when dining.

We came to Arnside for fish and chips, but having seen the queues at the Arnside chippy we called into the Fighting Cocks. Fish and chips were served with mushy peas and tartare sauce, but nothing special. At £11 a pop we thought was expensive considering you can get better for less at the Ship at Sandside or the Bull... Stopped here for a Sunday lunch after a walk up the Knott. Enjoying the sunshine we decided to sit in the beer garden, didn't realise this meant saying goodbye to table service. My mum and boyfriend went to the bar to order food to be told to come down and get it when it's ready. Well how do we know... More

Called in here for an evening meal. The menu overall looked quite appealing, but as i am vegetarian i found it disappointing. There was only one main meal on the menu that i could have chosen, and they had "ran out of it" Not good when you have spent the entire day in the fresh air. I asked for the... More
