We had on June 19, 2016: 5 scalloped oysters, 1 small bowl of fish soup with rasped cheese, 1 meal salad, 1 basket of bread, a few toasted breads with aioli, 1 small bottle of white Picpoul wine, 1 espresso and 1 crème brulée. Costs €48 ! The fish soup was lukewarm and the espresso also. The meal salad was... More

Food is ok at best. Service is terrible. Avoid this place. You can certainly do much better in Mèze. Go for a quick walk to the other side of the port and stop off at Le Pirate.

Basically, don't waste your time and money. Years of eating out in France and never anything as remotely awful as this place. Our 8 year olds meal arrived first after 50 minutes then 10 minutes later our 5 year olds appeared. They'd both finished when ours finally arrived a further 20 minutes later, that's a one hour and twenty minute... More

Went for a meal while travelling in the area. All of us been very disappointed: service is poor - seemed like waiter was annoyed by customers. Got 2 dirty plates out of 4, it was changed when we pointed it, no apology at all. Fish for 2 people to share was a joke not a dish and we been charged... More

Reading the other reviews we must have been lucky in choosing the right dish. I had a platter with cooked mussels, oysters etc and my husband had the same version but uncooked. We enjoyed our fresh seafood. We also managed to eat in 40 minutes and the only time we had to wait was for the bill. For us it... More

I wish we had had the opportunity to check out some of the other recent reviews before embarking on a meal here. We arrived a little late and this seemed to be the only place that could offer us a table for 4. That should have been a warning. We have eaten at other adjacent restaurants before and always been... Disappointing. Generally poor inatentitive service. Appears to be woefully short staffed considering how busy it was. A party of 4 we all enjoyed a 3 course meal. Starters were all very good, but sorry to say the mains were a total let down. All the meals were over-cooked ... criminal when dealing with tuna, cuttlefish and sardines. In addition, while... We had lunch there on a spring weekday. Although the restaurant was not busy, we had to wait 1 hour between starters and mains. Food was below average and service inattentive. We were disappointed.

The service was mainly disinterested but overall was very slow - from getting a menu until the kid's deserts arrived. My sardines were small and rather scaly. Mrs' mussels were poorly prepped with beards and looked unappetising. The kids had the menu enfant of grilled fish and chips. They complained that the fish didn't taste nice - we tried to... More

Firstly the hand written and photocopied menu, should have been a warning. French isn't my first language but I get by ok. The menu was impossible to read, but we settled on fish called Dorada. We ordered a glass of wine and a bottle of Perrier water. The water was dumped on the table in its plastic bottle not even... More
