Great traditional food in a great surrounding my only complaint is the staff are miserable as sin !! A smile wouldn’t go a miss !! But the food more than compensates

Friendly staff, good Mallorquin food - not pricey - very enjoyable. Hadn't been there for many years - still good value for money.

Been coming here since I was 7. I’m 45 now and stopped by for lunch today. The menu hasn’t changed much, .... it doesn’t need to. If something isn’t broken, don’t fix it. LAMB CHOPS are costed per chop. I asked for 5, some bread...and ali oli, a coke and later an espresso. €22.70 was the bill. ALL The meats are cooked on an open grill infront of you,... perfectly, lightly seasoned, really fresh. The staff on the 18/01/20 were much more friendly and efficient to my last encounter, so much so I felt compelled to write this. Any trip to Mallorca is incomplete without eating here. DELICIOUS.More

We come back on each visit. Bread and a plate of olives and peppers were plopped on the table even before we were seated. The Moroccan soup is a thick mixture of broth with mostly cabbage,an occasional sliver of meat and old bread. Sounds awful,...but it was great. We followed this with Arroz brute which was mostly rice and meat in a thin broth. The serving was way more than we could eat. We were too full to sample dessert. The cafe americano was the best I’ve had on the island! All around good experience.More

We came many times and usually the food is good, but this time all the food we eat was very salty. Also the rice was terrible, with little pieces of bones inside The sobrasada was very good, an the coffee too Hope next time they...take note of thisMore

Really close to the airport, we landed around 22.00, very hungry, and were looking for a place to grab a bite, and a good demon called us in here: the atmosphere is quite surreal, but smiles are everywhere. The food is great, the service was...perfect, despite the fact we were last customers and the staff couldn't see the time to have their dinner, but nobody rushed us. all ended with a special local liquor... I definitely know where i'll have the first meal next time i'll be landing in Palma!More

Was recommended by a friend and went in a party of 6. The choice of food was not great but we managed to find something. When it arrived the chops were overcooked, the wine was like vinegar. I normally don't bother to give a review...if I did not like the place but this was the original transport cafe for coach parties.More

Every time I visit Mallorca, I make a point of having at least one meal here. I first ate at Cal Dimoni as a teenager with my parents about 50 years ago. It remains a truly rustic and authentic Mallorcean experience. I believe it has...the best paella on the island. The menu is varied, the prices are still very reasonable and the food is very, very good. When a restaurant is filled with locals, you know the food is great and that you're getting good value. Definitely worth a visit!More
