We had lunch here on Saturday with a Mallorcan friend who highly recommended it. She was right! Probably the best meal we have had in Mallorca over many years. I had cod gratin, delicately done to perfection in a thin and soft cheese batter(19euros). Followed by chopped apple in crepe with ice cream (6 euros). Astounding taste. Lovely atmosphere and... We go to the east coast of Mallorca quite a bit typically flying into Palma on an evening. it's become a bit of a tradition now that we always stop of at this restaurant, which is only 15 minutes from the airport. I love it because it is so authentically Mallorquin and the service is always fantastic. I think it's... More

Try to get a table on a Sunday lunch time! The queues even of those who have booked tables is One and everyone awaits their turn patiently, Traditional food, excellently prepared. Try not to sit too close to the kitchen entrance as the kitchen calls out every dish so loudly, you are tempted to go in there and help with... More

Admittedly, we have been here twice but in the winter, so customers were looked after in a small section of the restaurant (which is quite large), where the fire and grill are. We had a few staple Mallorquin food and they were excellent. The snails and Pulpo a la Gallega were extremely good, just as the Arroz Brut (probably the... More

Have looked forward to eating here for many years as it is a favourite of a lot of my Mallorquin and Spanish friends. We chose to spend the final night of our holiday there. As it was a special occasion I ordered Paella Bogavante (Lobster Paella). Luckily I only took one mouthful of the lobster because it was off. As... More

This is a very traditional but elegant restaurant, which is clearly a favourite with the locals. We visited twice, trying the arroz brut, spicy majorcan sausages, chargrilled ox, bacalao paella, chargrilled pork, fried garlic pork chops with green peppers, souffle, chocolate mousse and ensaimadas. The quality of the food was first rate, with everything cooked to perfection. I loved the... More

I'm not that hard to please on holiday, but didn't really like the vibe at this place. The food was just average en definitely overpriced. The olives (charged on the bill) tasted like soap. Overall: I'd say skip this, unless you're in the neighbourhood, looking for a decent bite and you like your meats.

Best in the area. Try codero lechal (babylam) or paella .. Great value. And start with typical tapas like calamares and pulpo or great jamon iberico pata negra.
