Located in a former Palazzo, the dining rooms have a lovely atmosphere thanks to the barreled ceilings. The salami/charcuterie plate was amazing! hand made cured meats by the chef. The chef is renowned for his risotto made with 48 month aged parmesan. Desert was freshly...made, on the spot, gelato. The service was impeccable. Great wine list of Piedmont.More

Young, attentive, friendly new owners who are trying very hard. Perhaps too 'try-hard'. Very 'unusual' and elaborate dishes which were not to our personal taste. In fact we found nothing on the menu which appealed to us. The outside setting is lovely in a large...open garden. The 'quirky' furniture (i.e. an old bedstead to sit on) is just strange. Inside was very large and as we visited in high summer, empty. A few diners in the outside patio area. In our opinion a more simple menu with perhaps one or two speciality dishes would appeal more to those out to dine and just wishing for a lovely meal. As we had been recommended to go there by friends who had visited some long time ago we were quite disappointed.More

We suggested to have dinner in the restaurant to a good old friend visiting from America. We wanted to see the recently opened dinning area in this beautiful old renacimiento building. Service was friendly and professional however we found some of regional menu dishes expensive...and quality not of what we would have expected. Desserts were exceptionally good. A place worth a visit.More

We visited this town by accident. We went to a wrong place that was closed, and got a recommendation by the hotel manager. This place was so gracious and cozy. Interior of the restaurant was very old, yet elegant. Food we had tasted so different...from any other Italian places. Every dish was unique and different!More

We stumbled across this restaurant on a busy Saturday lunch time, no reservation, but we were straight away found a good corner table and treated as special guests, all the others were locals, seemingly habitués. The vaulted former chapel is full of charm, with a...high ceiling and lots of light. The food was imaginative, top quality, modern Italian style. Wine was, of course, a special Gavi di Gavi. Not cheap for a restaurant in a small provincial town, but worth every penny.More
