Came across an inviting outdoor terrace and stopped for lunch. The food, service and quality/price ratio was such that we opted to return for the following evening’s dinner. We certainly were not disappointed. In fact we enjoyed our meal more than a local well recommended...restaurant we’d gone to the night before. PS: don’t miss out of the “omelette aux cèpes” if they ever offer it on their special menu 👌More

Stayed in France for 10 days and it was the best lunch we had!! We had the steak with truffles and it was to die for.

We came across this bistrot by chance and were immediately attracted by its picturesque setting in an unspoilt Bordelais wine village. Recently opened, both the exterior and interior eating areas are equally attractive depending on the weather. We ate inside because the terrace was fairly...busy in early autumn sunshine. We sat in a cosy and interesting corner. We had asked the waiter for advice on a wine to accompany the chicken meal and his suggestion of a local Lussac white from a few kms away was the perfect choice, really lovely. Our vegan member was adequately catered for (not as easy as you might think) and was very happy with what was offered to him. All in all, a good and positive experience. We'd recommend this bistrot as a good place to while away a lazy lunch time.More

This place sits in the town and was the only place for lunch. We managed to get a table although sitting on stools is not our choice it was all that was available. Best to book. We chose the set menu. The tomato entree was...lovely followed by a pork steak. The dessert was a rockmelon soup in a jar. We had a bottle of Rose to wash it down. The waitress was particularly friendly and did a good job. All up 52.50 euros. Worth a visit if in town.More

We had high expectations after reading reviews, We arrived late in the day and were feed, the services was reasonable, the price was a little high I felt, and the food was just above average. Nothing to rave about but worth trying if close.

We sat outside on a delightful terrace in the sunshine. The Steak and chips was fantastic and the wines offered by the glass very good value. The omelette with truffles and with mushrooms were also very good.

We chose a three course menu for 17€ per person. Our terrine starter was very tasty, followed by roast chicken, roasted vegetables and potatoes and completed by a strawberry cheesecake. The cheesecake was the only disappointing item,as it could have benefited from some fresh strawberries on...top both to complement the flavour and to give the dish some colour.More

The food was superb. The waiter made a fantastic recommendation for a new wine. The best frites ever!

After five days with no issues regarding food while touring the south of France, this was a disappointed place for having dinner. We ordered an entrecot médium term but got an overcooked meat with oily potatos, had to return it. We also ordered pork that...was uneatable. Only good piece was the dessert,a crem brulet.More

Little local restaurant, and bar for latecomers. The food is a bit hit-and-miss - we had differing views on our main courses - but in general it's a most pleasant place for dinner. The atmosphere was courteous and friendly though not overly attentive, which is...how we like it. If you want something don't just sit there, ask for it, otherwise you're left in peace.More
