Very imaginative food of superb quality and value. The wine pairing (which is sometimes a disappointing experience) added greatly to the meal, and was presented by a most engaging and enthusiastic sommelier. We have dined at multiple ** and *** restaurants in NYC and France;...More

The bottom line is that it is worth every penny. We went as a special occasion after an engagement and we're greeted with a nice message on our table and congratulations from the very friendly and engaging staff. As you would expect from a Michelin...More

(1) offering two serving shifts. You are valued as a financial contributor. (2) the piped music is, as everywhere, not enjoyable. (3) wines far too expensive. Everything calculated cost x 3-5 = price in list Food very delightful. Staff as well. I am very taken...More

This is just a joy of an experience for lunch. The food is to die for. Always something new to delight. Always perfect. The service is impeccable. Why it doesn't have two Michelin stars is a complete mystery.

We dined here while staying at the Cameron House. It is not affiliated with the Cameron House which is a good thing because the difference in food and service was like night and day. We had a tasting menu paired with wine. Everything was excellent...More

We ate here as an early celebration of our golden wedding. We had heard good reports of the restaurant and were not disappointed – the food and service were 5 star. We had the six-course tasting menu which had extra courses one of which was...More

Description
Edinburghs esteemed chef, Martin Wishart, has added a touch of Michelin-starred luxury to the already impressive Cameron House a stylish hotel on the shores of Loch Lomond. Head Chef Stewart Boyles worked with Martin in the kitchen at Restaurant Martin Wishart, so its no surprise that the food here is similarly flawless. The menu features elegant French dishes like roast John Dory forestire with truffle jus; Jerusalem artichoke velout with langoustines; and a lighter-than-air passion fruit souffl. The restaurant itself is light and airy with striped chairs, comfortable banquettes and shades of taupe and plum creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The attentive service, unpretentious atmosphere and thoughtfully chosen wine list complete this unforgettable dining experience.
