We had dinner at this resort and enjoyed the lovely cocktails at happy hour from 4-6pm with $10 cocktails. We asked to stay for dinner and the staff were very happy to set a table for us. The fish of the day, seared tuna, was excellent, served with mashed potato and vegetables washed down with a bottle of lovely NZ... More

Promised I'd take my wife to this restaurant (having been here on a business trip several years ago and had been very impressed. Pleased to say it was still up to the same standard - perfect location, setting and lovely relaxed classic look inside with views over the reef and infinity pool. Food was very very good. We had the... More

While staying at this hotel, we enjoyed breakfast every day and a few lunches and evening meals. Breakfast was generous, and there were lots of choices. You could add eggs and bacon for a minimal charge. Lunch plates were big enough to share and drinks were great.

Stopped here for a drink on our way around the island. Very quiet and relaxing and beautiful view but no atmosphere when we visited.

Food is amazing here, with a large number of 1st place food awards. This is where I go to treat myself with amazing food, wine and good company.

The food tasted like a student with a 10 dollar weekly food shopping budget cooked it. A 10 year old could've made the mush that was our dinner. The cocktails were pure gasoline, it tasted like straight alcohol. The view and location was nice, and the staff were really friendly.

Kia Orana, This is alarming to say the least. We are on the improve each week and this comment has set me back a little. I will now endeavor to get to the bottom of this anomaly and resolve same. I do hope that this was brought to the attention of our staff / duty manager for them to take... More

Didn't realise the resort wasn't for kids but still had dinner here (albeit very quickly!). Nice location but hard to see when the sun goes down so probably better to head at lunchtime. Was also quite windy which made it pretty chilly. Food was ok, nothing memorable though and so if you're after a typical (reasonably priced) resort meal then... More

This is an excellent restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner when staying at Royal Takitamu villas. Good food at reasonable prices.
