Stopped numerous times on recent trips south from Scotland. Probably our favourite of all the myriad of coffee shops in Corbridge. Despite other reviews we've always found service friendly and efficient as we just rely on the 30 mins free parking in Corbridge and have never had to feed the meter. Scones are just a bit different which is welcome.... More

We've tried the Tea & Tipple many times and always felt that whist the service isn't the best, the food and coffee are pretty good and worth the visit. Our latest visit tests this theory given that the service remains poor, bordering dreadful and food would appear to be going down hill too. They struggled to get an order of... More

We had a delicious morning tea, with coffee, hot chocolates and wonderful cheese scones. Just what we needed on a cold December day! Service was friendly and quick.

Best tomato and basil soup I've had. Lovely and relaxed atmosphere and spacious tea room. No rush to leave. Would definitely return.

Nothing too much trouble for this cafe, great menu, spelt bread is always a good choice, coffee and scones spot on. Went twice in one day!

There is a reason for it being popular. We go for the great service and good food selection. Quite possibly the best filter coffee I know of in the UK with a free top up. Fruit scone is always a good option and the spelt bread is brilliant ( Gluten Free wife can eat this !!!) 5 stars and it... More

There are many great tea shops in Corbridge but many are a bit cramped, this one is light, airy and spacious. Lovely salads, home made soups, cakes and scones and very friendly service.

Excellent carrot soup but disappointingly stale scone served with butter and jam; cream was requested, but was then told that they'd run out. Would have preferred that information up front so could have made an alternative selection! Nice to be able to browse the newspapers.
