The Angel Inn has a good reputation in this area. We visited to celebrate Christmas Eve, with a family group on an afternoon booking. We were seated in the newer extension to the restaurant. We waited over twenty minutes before being presented with menus or having drinks orders taken. The food arrived over forty minutes after ordering. At no time did... More

Very nice meal with friends. Imaginative menu, using quality fresh ingredients. Friendly, efficient staff. Always a great experience.

We ate here 3 times while we were in Corbridge for a week. A nice local place to eat. Not a large variety on the menu but it was adequate for the family.

I've been to this place a number of times to meet friends for lunch as well as having meals with my family. It is always packed out and the food will never disappoint you. However, I have noticed (and I think this seems to be the craze now-a-days) but the price of their starters are extremely high especially for what... More

Came here for a Sunday lunch. My partner had the soup to start and beef for main, I had the black pudding to start and chicken for main and the little one had a prawn cocktail to start and small portion of fish and chips for main. All 3 of us were stuffed. With no room for pudding after. Needless... More

Just a cautionary observation. Visited here on Friday evening for a drink. Asked for a large glass of chardonnay at the bar which cost £7.95 which was a bit on the pricey side. I think the guy behind the bar could have asked me if I would have liked the house wine (£5.95) instead of a glass from the wine... More
