Went here for my fiancé s 40th birthday, from the moment we walked in we were made to feel very welcome, staff were very helpful and pleasant, the food was amazing, my partner had a lamb dish that melted in your mouth, would highly recommend this top curry house to anyone.

Got the train back to corbridge, and discovered everyone was going here on the curry train. Although we hadn't booked, we were accommodated fairly quickly, though the place was busy. The food was fab, the service attentive. Fantastic

We have been customers of the Valley group of restraunts for over 20 years usually going to Hexham. As the Valley at Corbridge had been closed for a few months following the floods after storm Desmond we decided to go and see its refurb we were not disappointed. The decor is very tasteful we were welcomed by the young lady... More

Eventually got around to trying this place and it didn't disappoint. Service and food was fab. I found the popadoms and dips were the nicest I've ever. It was quite noisy with a few big groups in but they did sit us out of the way as a couple and we were very grateful. Portions are larger than expected and... More

We thought we could choose our meal on the train but for parties over 20 it's a set meal served to the table. Vegetarians are asked to pre order theirs and I asked to pre ordered the tandoori chicken. On sitting at the table there were the usual popadoms and pickles/sauces. The rice arrived and it was some time before... More

Dear Dawn, Thank you for your review. We are extremely apologetic for your experience. The reason we provide a set menu is to to provide an efficient service for our customers, individual orders are difficult to provide for large group of more than 20. This would have been explained to your party organiser at the point of reservation and is... More

After a prolonged absence of a few years we revisited The Valley Indian Restaurant in Corbridge. The food was largely as I remembered except for the tantalising aroma which characterised the cuisine. My main course, Khal Khul Chicken was based around the Naga chilli, reputably the world's hottest chilli, a statement with which I wouldn't argue. Certainly, this dish is... More

After hearing about this restaurant we decided to give it a try. What a HUGE mistake. We ordered a chicken korma and a chicken Balti, 2 nan bread and 2 plain rice we decided to take our order away . When we got home and opened our dishes we couldn't believe it. Chicken korma with NO chicken in it. Only... More

Unfortunately this has clearly been mistaken for another restaurant. We have had no such complaints regarding takeaways. The complaint sounds rather uncharacteristic of our team both in its nature and the way it would have been dealt with. I hope you find the correct restaurant in which you have had this terrible experience. The Valley Restaurants More

Visited for my sisters birthday, food and service was fantastic. I think it would be better to have a specific carriage on the train rather than mixed with everyone. Ran out of drinks on the train as large stag party there. All in all I wouldn't let this stop me returning a brilliant night enjoyed by us all.

Starters of pakora was reheated, dry hard fayre. The main course of Chicken. Akari was chicken with some sauce poured over it, very bland. Service was frantic and 3 waiters coming at table from different angles. Very disappointed
