Food was excellent service was brilliant. A nice selection of ale's and lager prices are not to bad for a large town. Location is smack in the middle of the town so parking is easy not to far away from the pub. And a nice...More

Eaten here a few times now and the food is really good much better then it used to be! You get so much food that I have to go back another day for pudding but that's not a bad thing! Great price and service. :)

There were 5 of us , all using the pub for the first - but definitely not the last - time. Car parking is in public areas but we had no difficulty and it was free. We had booked a table for lunch , though...More

we used to love the lion but since it changed management we wont be returning, we attended as a group and noone liked their dish, some were cold, some were burned, some were small, some were big. Flavours were all off.

Came in for a quick drink, both of us had a glass of wine, one white and one red. Wine was not good, white smelled like a urinal and red was very acidic. Place was clean and the staff friendly but didn't stay for food.

The cute bearded barman held my hand in my time of need. I was told I had to move for the dj and it upset greatly. The only thing that helped was with kind and caring not to forget his loving touch and surprisingly soft...More

Brackley's most expensive public house, however super atmosphere on a Friday and Saturday night with bands, gets crowded, good food and enjoyable on a Sunday afternoon with a good roast

Description
Family run pub restaurant tucked just behind the town hall. The menu has a variety of home made, locally sourced options ranging from light lunches through to main meals and sharing platters. There is always a minimum of 3 quality house ales available and a very good wine selection.
