We have been coming to The Captains Cottage for many years and always had great food and great service. It's a small cottage type cafe with a couple of staff and in peak times gets very busy. Service we have had has always been great...More

Unsure how to rate this since the food and decor are so lovely yet the service was truly terrible. Absolutely delicious local crab sandwich on good quality bread and homemade scones. At every stage of the experience - on entry, ordering, getting food, paying -...More

We always call into the Captain's Cottage tea room when in Beer - great welcome, super friendly service, lovely freshly prepared food (especially the fresh crab sandwiches), great big pots of steaming tea in front of the wood burner - highly recommended!
