Cool & relaxing ambiance, decent choices of food items, delicious food, reasonable pricing and courteous & friendly customer service makes this restaurant a great value for money. Conveniently located on the main street in Hanga Roa, I would very highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Enjoyed two evenings here, such a beautiful and fun place! Our food was delicious and the two waiters were so friendly and helpful. The cocktails are also great and they have often live music, so what’s not to love? Go and enjoy!!

I went to Easter island 17th January 2020 one of the first things me and my friend did was walk down the main street Hanga Roa. We seen some cool shops and then came across a really cool, trendy bar/ restaurant called Kai Mana. We...were greeted by a young man with the biggest smile! He was really warm and welcoming! Later in the evening we went in the restaurant for some cocktails and nibbles. We ordered a starter without meat as I don't eat meat and then the dish came with meat on. The waiter came to our table and got us the same dish without meat and it came within minutes. The cocktails were delicious! The entertainment is provided by the locals and it's vibrant and fun! It really does make the bar stand out from the others! It creates a fun atmosphere! We visited the Kai Mana restaurant a few times during our trip! We really liked it there and loved the cocktails! It's a place you must go to during your trip to the island!More

I enjoyed every bite of my sesame grilled tuna which was fresh and flavorful. It was served with mashed potatoes and vegetables and was presented beautifully. The restaurant is very pretty and local music was playing around 1900 when I got there. Staff were pleasant...and attentive and several of them were singing along while they worked which made for a happy atmosphere.More

I was really impressed at how the owner wanted happy customers. I asked if they could substitute the fish dish for chicken and nothing was too much trouble. The food came out well cooked and the salad was fresh and tasty. I ordered tea and...got a pot of Twinings instead of the usual Yellow Label Liptons you get once outside of England. The place was spotlessly clean and you were made to feel really welcome here. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant.More

Had a very nice diner here. And the waiter Claudio was very attentive and spoke good English. Scrimps delicious and the beef and carpaccio also. Last plus we struggled a lot in chili with bad coffee but this was a good cup.

It was a great night of local flavors, the food was delicious, especially the Shrimp Pil Pil, some unique cocktails and two local bands performed. one of the best nights we spent on the island.

We found this restaurant by chance just walking up the road. The food is excellent, we had Tunas steak covered in sesame seeds and baked in the oven with mashed potato and vegetables. Absolutely delicious. The drinks were very generous and our hosts were so...friendly. It was so good we went back the next evening and had loin of beef with chips and a mushroom cheese sauce, delicious, and of course more generous drinks.More

Was a restaurant I more stumbled across and felt adventurous as never had had ceviche before, but glad I did. Staff were friendly, food well prepared and nice to sit in. Didn't stay for the live music at 9 or 10 so can't tell you...what it is like then. Went twice and glad I did.More

We had a nice evening here listening to the music and enjoyed a few adult beverages while the live music played. Nice atmosphere and pleasant staff.
We visited Easter Island as a class trip. We stopped one night for drinks at Kai Mana and to listen to the band that was playing that night. We ended up having so much fun that we went there four nights to listen to music...and get drinks. Our waiter, Claudio, was extremely friendly and funny. He definitely made us feel welcome and was one of the reasons why we kept going back. By the end of the trip, nearly all of the staff at Kai Mana knew who we were. Definitely a place to check out!More

Visited Kai Mana Restobar for lunch on a recent visit to Easter Island. My guess is the place gets very busy in the evenings, as we were the only people seated having lunch. We chose to share a plate of french fries, chicken wings (4),...tomato, melted gouda cheese & Hindu curry sauce, 15000CLP (US$23). Overkill with the Hindu curry sauce, everything on the plate was a mess which made the meal very heavy eating. Maybe we chose the wrong meal for lunch.More
