Came here for dinner, the 2 female staff pretty much ignored me the best they could for a good 5 mins, later on a man who looks like the manager came out and I was finally shown to a table upstairs. Although it faces the...sea supposedly with a nice view, the sun was so strong an glaring it was uncomfortable for the guests sitting upstairs. I ordered a ceviche and a drink, both took forever to arrive. The ceviche tasted alright but unfortunately I had tummy problems that night which I highly suspect was due to that dish. Also quite disturbing was the fact I saw a lot of flies in the bar and kitchen area, this is the only place out of 6 of 7 restaurants that I went to which I noticed this problem. Unfortunately cannot say I had a good dinner here.More

We booked this restaurant prior to leaving the UK. We wanted to secure a window seat to enjoy the spectacular sunset over the Moai at Tahai and we were not disappointed. The menu is extensive, with something for everyone including vegetarians; the cocktails are delicious...too. The restaurant has a lovely ambience and is nicely decorated. The service was excellent and we were able to enjoy a leisurely meal, enjoy the delicious food with an amazing outlook. Please visit if you go to Easter Island.More

This restaurant happened to be located next to our Lodge, but what good fortune, because it was excellent. The restaurant faces west so the sunsets are spectacular to watch from here, but the food is even better.

We had lunch and dinner during our stay across the street. It is beautiful at all times of the day, especially at sunset. There is a 2 level indoor dining with open windows and a downstairs outdoor area for dining as well as a relaxing...drink. Food is great although a little pricier than in town. Would definitely recommend!More

The food was nice with a wide variety of dishes on the menu. The sunset was spectacular over the moai at Tahai and the service was very good. The only problem we encountered were the bugs, which swarmed over us as we ate and eventually...forced us to move tables. It seems harsh marking down the restaurant for this, but I feel they could do more to prevent the bugs from getting in (they weren't overly concerned with keeping the doors closed). Still a worthwhile experience!More

This restaurant overlooks the Tahai moai, THE place to be at sunset. We sat outside and enjoyed the view; we enjoyed the food less. The service was inattentive and slow. The food was fine but nothing special. The Ceviche was good but my partner's Pasta...was bland and somewhat dry.More

Service was a bit slow and “in training” but with a positive attitude . Nothing that a good view and decent preparations can’t compensate for

Great sunsets, views, food and staff Moai.... What more could you want? We went for New Years Eve. It was my husbands birthday so I wanted to pick something special. It was perfect. The bacon wrapped steak and risotto was sublime. Desert was also excellent....Not to be missed. I don't normally take pictures of my food but this was noteworthy.More

The place is fairly difficult to find so follow the signs to get there. The owner has real charm and loves his restaurant. The view is fabulous. There was a real attempt to make the food (large portions by the way) in a stylish manner,...the problem was that none of it tasted up to the level of the presentation.More

Excellent food and location. We had a great dinner there. The sunset was amazing. Everything was perfect we had a great time. One of the highlights were the moais made of ice in our cocktails.

The food here was delicious and the vibe was great. Definitely recommend having some of the fish. This place was a bit hard to find on google maps, so plan accordingly.

Rarely do I write a bad review because we use reviews to decide on great places to go. If I would give zero stars If I could. We arrived on time for our reservation and were handed menus, but didn’t have anyone come by to...take our order for half an hour. We actually had to flag the waitress down. That should have been a sign. Yes, the restaurant was busy and it appeared there was one waitress and one waiter that we could see, both highly skilled at ignoring customers attempts at getting their attention. Since we’d had plenty of time to review the menu we placed our drink and dinner order. Drinks arrived, but no one ever came back for the next hour. At first we weren’t too concerned because it was busy and we travel enough to know service can be slow. But as more time went by and seeing the table next to us was also not getting anyone to come by (at least they got food because they arrived an hour before we did when it wasn’t busy they said). After an hour and a half my husband had to block the waitresses path to the kitchen to find out what happened to our order. She replied “we are busy”. At that point he found a manager handling credit card transactions in the bar. The manager apologized that the waitress had forgotten to put our order into the cooks and they would do it right now. We decided to leave. Obviously our experience awful, hence the bad review. But we weren’t the only ones being ignored by the wait staff, which is why I’m writing this. Yes, people come here for the sunset, but there are a lot of people enjoying the same sunset without wasting hours of their lives here. If we had known we would have eaten elsewhere, and taken a cab here to see the sunset like many people because there is a large public area here.More

We liked this place so much we came back a second time (which we almost never do). The food was excellent and the views (from the first floor and second floor) were lovely. The patio has obstructed views so if you're there to see the...sunset, I'd avoid that area. Our server was lovely both evenings. Reservations are recommended but we just showed up around opening time and had no problem getting a table by the window on the second floor (which was perfect for us). All of the food was delicious but the seaweed cerviche and regular fish ceviche were stars. By far our best meals on the island.More

We really enjoyed this restaurant. Walking to it in the practically pitch black across a 'field' in front of the moai was interesting but fun (a road route is available). The wood decor is beautiful and as we were one of the last couples for...dinner we were lucky enough to get a table next to the window on the mezzanine with a great view. The variety of pisco sours and cocktails on the menu was good and they were enjoyable. As for food, we ordered one baby back ribs between us along with an appetizer of pil pil prawns as the waitress warned us it was a large portion of ribs - and it was! The ribs were coated in tasty BBQ sauce and sat on top of a mountain of thick skin on chips/wedges and slices of delicious sweet potato. We really enjoyed both dishes, although the prawns were more garlic tasting than chilli flavoured. Service wasn't the quickest but throughout Chile and Easter Island you begin not to expect it, so it didn't bother us.More
