We've eaten here previously and couldn't wait to return. We ate there again last week at lunchtime and then again the following evening. The food is excellent. I had the pear and mascarpone ravioli in gorgonzola sauce and the second night the clam pasta. So beautiful. A limited menu but wow such fab food. The chef came out to chat... More

Well worth seeking out, this is a great place for either a drink or meal. The Italian owners are very friendly and Massimo is a very good chef and at the weekend puts on some market fresh dishes.

Enjoyed an evening meal here before the owners started their holidays! Had fresh pasta with pears and cheese and spinach lasagne. Good red wine. No charge for bread. Basic surroundings but decent food shame it wasn't open longer during our stay.

I fancied some fresh pasta last night and had read about a bistro-café, on the ouskirts of El Cotillo, which serves Italian food. It took me less than eight minutes to walk from my side of the village to the other, where Punta Dell'Est is located. It overlooks the wasteland or semi-desert to one side; and the main bus station... More

This place is truly delicious, a personal restaurant owned by a culinary genius (Massimo) who is also the chef in the kitchen! The first time I showed up speaking 0 spanish, alone, and far from home but the staff at Punta del Este made me feel anything but far away. The staff outside (currently AnnaMarie) always deliver a warm welcome... More

Four of us dined here last night and the food was fresh and tasty. We were well looked after by Anna-Marie and of course Massimo. What a brilliant little restaurant this is, can't wait to go back.

Ate here twice during our recent holiday and found the food quality, chef and waitress refreshingly good. No other restaurant we found seemed to really care that much. Punte del Este does. Don't be fooled by the modest location, simple surroundings and handwritten menu. It really is worth giving it a try. Whilst we waited for our main course we... More

I had read about this restaurant on TA and I must say we were not disappointed. My wife and I were celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary and Massimo and Anna Marie couldn't do enough for us. Our meal was delicious and the Desert was exquisite. Anna Marie insisted on us taking a bottle of Champaign to celebrate. We agreed in... More

Called for evening meal following reviews on TA. Great food, relaxed atmosphere and friendly hosts. Will definitely be back. Shame it's only Friday and Saturday evenings opening.
