We were hot, hungry and needed a view. The family wanted seafood so a burger bar sent towards the old harbour where we happened on the Mirador. So we went upstairs into the open air terrace at the Mirador on a Sunday afternoon and looked out over the old harbour. It was busy, lots of Spanish families, so you know... More

Good local restaurant. Friendly staff and decent reasonably priced kids menu! Steak, spaghetti, fish, chicken or burgers. I had steak with fresh goats cheese while my husband had King prawns. Nice place. Worth a visit and really good seating overlooking sea

its great to sit in the open on the first floor watching the sun set over the sea. This is a good local restaurant with no frills attached. There is an ATM 300 metres away if you arrive with no cash!

Ate here twice - first time because we enjoyed our meal during our last holiday. Second time because our first second and third choices were all closed. The first meal we had prawns rolled in chicken breast. It just didn't seem to work and the sauce was very wet. The second time we ordered chicken breast in sauce, chips and... More

We hired a car from the airport when we were staying in Caleta and drove north of the island the second day we were on holiday. We ate here on a lunch time and had something light, cheese and tomato salad. It was beautifuly presented and very tasty in a beautiful setting.

We visited in the evening and had the Tapas menu (8 dishes of the day plus wine 25€) the food was varied, of good quality and very filling. The service was friendly and speedy. The outstanding feature was the Sangria, probably the best we have tasted, certainly the best in El Cotillo. Beautifully situated on the old harbour this place... More

We came here 2 years ago and it was great but now it doesn't seem as good. The waitress was friendly but the waiter seemed annoyed that we only wanted a few tapas between two and he got the order wrong. It was ok but I don't think I would return. There seem to be a lot of lovely restaurants... More

Had tapas, it was awful. The cooked dishes tasted institutional - worse than hospital food. Poor service and they tried to overcharge us. Lovely setting doesn't compensate for very poor food. There are a number of very good places to eat in el cotillo - sottovento and el sitio stand out. Don't give this careless shabby place your custom
