Very disappointing. Food was ok, would not give the food more than 3stars. I had lobster which was covered in a thick gunky cream sauce so were my partners sole and prawn rolls. Looking at other people fish, all covered in the same sauce.
On first impression, a large almost cavernous room, but solicitous and friendly staff, great food, excellent service and genuinely Canarian style. A little more expensive than some, but the view over the sea is worth it!

The Marisma is on one of the smaller streets of El Cotillo, on the seafront. We missed finding it twice, but were enchanted with the location. We both had a fish-soup and then shared a big 'perro' (dog) fish, grilled just so.
Lovely refined restaurant in El Cotillo - beautiful clean decor and a fabulous view - I enjoyed superb fresh fish and a few glasses of white wine and a gorgeous local dessert. They served a little 'amuse-bouche' as a taster which was yummy.
