Heard good things so decided to visit. Food was good even though menu was quite Mexican based. Staff seemed to be more interested in themselves i’m Sorry to say.

I took a group of friends here for dinner this evening after having read the good reviews about the quality of the food and the wide choice of gins. First impressions. Nice modern vibe . Quirky . Pleasant and comfortable. Unfortunately no one to meet and greet and show us to our table. We then realised we had to go the bar for everything. Unfortunately only one person behind the bar and it was busy. Having read the gin menu we made our choices only to be told that some were not available or that they did not have the right mixers.... it is Saturday evening!!! Next we chose our food to be told again that several of our choices were not available ... the comment was “ it is the end of the weekend”. ??? When the food arrived it was beautifully presented and delicious. Our next issue was regarding a dog walking freely around the restaurant... I have no issues with dogs being allowed in but please keep them under control and on a lead . Also if you are serving food please do not allow your staff to pet the dog and then carry on without washing their hands. The kids running the place are very pleasant but there did not appear to be anyone in overall charge . All in all a strange mix of negative and positive feelings about our evening.... not sure we will rush to return except maybe for a morning coffee
