The food here is very good and my father is a regular customer. However the last 2 occasions now the service has been too slow at the beginning and then rushed when it finally arrives. They are in danger of loosing regular customers by either overbooking or just taking too long to deliver even a barely acceptable level of service.... More

The Rossini is a the best quality/price ratio restaurant I experienced in Oxfordshire in these first six month of life in UK. The menu is original, the cooking style good, with care for the details. Fresh ingredients. The location is peaceful, with a beautiful view on the river Thames. The environment may be noisy in the veranda side, where the... More

On a very hot summer evening, this was an idyllic place to have a special dinner. Although a bit tricky to get to, sitting at our table by the edge of the river watching the world go by was amazing and deserves 5 stars. However, I have only given 4, as the food was patchy and service rather chaotic which... More

My husband booked this restaurant for my birthday. We went for dinner with our two girls and loved it. The food was delicious and the scenery amazing. The service was a bit slow and not as attentive as you would expect from a place like this but we really enjoyed the view and the gorgeous atmosphere. We would definitely go... More

Visited on Saturday lunchtime. Lovely aspect especially as regatta was on across the river. The food and wine were really very good. Head waiter was amusing when telling us what wasn't available on the menu. I was a little surprised that chef wasn't serving some dishes as they had been on the online menu for sometime. We will definitely visit... More

The location by the Thames is beautiful. The food was reasonably good, however the service was not. The waiters had difficulty understanding us and appeared surly at times. The service was slow and the main courses all arrived at differing times. There was an overuse of oil/butter which made the food greasy.

This is a good choice, beautifully situated on the side of the Thames with outside dining. The Maitre’d is charming, funny and entertaining. We had a very relaxing meal in a pleasant atmosphere. Beware of the portion size!!!! All dishes are served with typical Italian generosity. We were a party of six and enjoyed each of the dishes we ordered.... More

My wife and I used to visit this restaurant a lot many years ago, but then it changed hands and lost it's appeal for us. Thought we would give it another try and glad we did. The location is, of course, as good as ever, being right beside the River Thames. Unfortunately, it was not quite warm enough to dine... More

My wife and I have become regulars at this amazing restaurant with it's authentic Italian cuisine. It is in a most beautiful setting on the banks of the Thames near Goring. On a Summer's evening you can have pre-meal drinks at the water's edge and if not too chilly stay and eat outside. Can't recommend too highly.

this venue is situated right on the riverbank, next to the sailing club so good views. the food was excellent and had very good portion size. the service was awful, the head waiter was on a day off when we visited and we waited for over an hour for our main course
