Went mid week for lunch, decided not to have a steak....too much meat,I thought.Ordered pork steak with apple and cheese, sounded good. When it arrived, two huge pork steaks with all the trimmings,so much for me not wanting too much meat! The meal was delicious, and the service was good.No room for desert. Will certainly going back.

Called in for lunch a few days ago there is no atmosphere in the main bar area whatsoever. No music background . Reception was pleasant there was four other people in with us at 1 O clock at lunchtime. The sandwiches were basic a salad garnish would be nice as presentation is everything. The chef or person who brought out our... More

Hi Thanks for the review. We do actually play music in our lounge bar, however sometimes the tracks do run out and we have to refresh and you may have been here during one of those periods. at the time of the review we actually did not do sandwiches, but either rolls or baguettes and these were limited to a... A group of us were booked in for a meal but what a disappointment it was. We were given a set price for one or two courses which stated it would be £1.50 extra for tea or coffee, fine. When we arrived we were told if we wanted chips with the salad they would be £1 extra then if we... More

Picked this out of the Britstop book. Massive car park so plenty of room for our camper. Met owners and were treated very well. Had dinner and although a little bit slow on service, this was due to everything being cooked from fresh, had a fantastic meal all gluten free for my wife! Well done we will return when next... We were staying in a self catering holiday home in Begelly last week as an extended family of 6 adults plus a baby who didn't need a meal. Arrived late lunchtime and 5 of us ate from the 'small plate' menu ( one had an all day breakfast) Food well cooked, chips lovely. The meal was adequate and left room... More

Visited for an evening meal with our two children. They were busy but they managed to fit us in. We both had curry which was delicious. My daughter had sausage and chips and the chips were excellent. The Landlady also gave my Daughter her dessert free as we had to wait a little while for our food to arrive. Thank... More
