After a not-so-satisfying dinner and breakfast at our accommodations, we hoped that our lunch would be better in Panglao Island. At Alona Beach, our prayers were answered. At Jasz Restaurant, our family of 7 adults and 1 kid ordered a bowl of sinigang na hipon (shrimps in tamarind broth with vegetables), 2 servings of grilled pork belly, 1 serving of... More

Almost all of the rosters of restaurants along the Alona Beach offers the same services but what makes this one stands out is the food itself - For me they served the best green salad and the best grilled marlin. I tried some of their cocktail mix and they did well...

After walking down, we decided to eat here. It looks cozy and there's great spots on the beach where you can also see lots of stars. The food took really long to come out, maybe an hour and all we ordered was veggies with rice and a pasta dish. Food was okay for a fair price. I did like the... More

We ate at the latter place on the first night and the food was very disappointing, they sold out recently and it shows! Further along... More

We visited a few places on the beach in Alona and this was one of our favourites. Sitting at a table, with our feet in the sand, the restaurant was busy every evening that we were there. Similar to lots of the other establishments that surround them, we found that the food and service here, along with the good value... More

I think you would have to be either really good or really bad to stand out in this area-- all the restaurants are clustered together and the offerings and prices all seem to be about the same. We ended up back here more than once just because of how friendly the staff were to us though. The food was good,... More
