This is a must when on the Dutch side. Elegant, Beautiful, tranquil and that’s just walking up to the restaurant. While slowing meandering up the paved sidewalk to the stone main dining area it would seem you have been transcended to the south of France....With their colored bushes and trees the lush landscaping had been fused with the West Indies with French sophistication. We had made reservations, even though it was September and slow season. We were immediately greeted and sat with views of the rolling hills. Everything thing we ordered from our wine, appetizer, main and dessert were perfection. We were even greeted by the owner while dining which is always icing on the cake. This is a don’t miss.More

Though we dined at Emilio's more than a month ago, we are still talking about it! Being "foodies" who have travelled and dined in more than 40 countries, we found this venue to be completely unique and outstanding in every aspect. The food was exquisite;...the service was perfect; the setting was remarkable. The evening was even capped by a visit to our table by the owner/founder, Norman Wathey, who shared personal memories of his friendship with the original Emilio, for whom the restaurant is named. Our advice to you ... this one is not to be missed!More

Overpriced average brunch buffet. Very slow to get drinks and they charged for the next tables bottles of water. If you want to wait in line to be served food (overcooked fish and pasty plantains) and have to put up with rude guests this is...the place for you. I travel and eat out all the time and won’t be going back. The lackluster desserts that my 3 kids didn’t even to eat. So many other restaurants that serve better food and nicer wait staff in SXM.More

We loved Emilio’s. So much so we went 3 times. We went initially for brunch and then subsequently for dinner and all was just great. You can’t go wrong with either snapper or short ribs. And the staff (Alicia, Marianella) was wonderful and warm as...well as the owner, Norman Wathey. Make sure you pay them a visit. You won’t regret it.More

We made reservations for 11am Brunch for Mothers Day. The atmosphere & ambiance is very relaxed and peaceful. There was a musician singing easy listening tunes, which was a nice touch. Mimosas and Bloody Mary's were excellent and the choice of foods was quite amazing....Everything was tasty and cooked very well! There were so many items available we couldn't possible eat everything. We highly recommend Emilio's.More

Service is terrible. Food does not have any life and taste. Wine choice was good. Waiter was not paying any attention to the table. He did not add water to the glasses, was not removing empty plates when finished. With the course. Food does not...have any taste.More

Saw rave reviews so thought we would try it out for my sister's 50th birthday. They weren't open on Monday so we did a reservation for the next day instead. We were glad that this wasn't the location for her birthday dinner, a bit of...a disappointment. Food was decent, nothing amazing. Service was okay, waiter was nice but could have been more attentive with filling drinks. At one point there was no waiter in sight and no one even at the bar. The bathroom situation was a complete surprise and not in a good way. You had to leave the building and go up steps outside in the rain to a bathroom attached to another building. It was rundown and the stall doors were not lined up so you could not lock them. The atmosphere of the dining space was nice but it wasn't one of my favorite dinners from the trip.More

The absolute best food we’ve ever had on the island. This is not a touristy restaurant, it’s a quiet, beautifully appointed hidden gem. The staff was welcoming and happy to be of service. I’m ready to go back tonight!

So many choices on the island of St. Martin but this is an easy decision!! The hostess was sweet, smiling and conversational. The server was pleasant and attentive. The owner walks around sharing his story and taking interest in yours. The food…everything we ordered was...delicious!! I had the beef tenderloin with white chocolate mashed potatoes…the chocolate is subtle yet the hint of sweetness is superb. My tenderloin melted in my mouth. My husband had the duck and he is the harshest critic, he’s a foodie and hard to satisfy and yet he enjoyed every morsel. The goat cheese balls app was delicious with a hint of honey and the grilled octopus was very good but the portion is very small. It is fine dining in a unique atmosphere and you will certainly enjoy every bite!More

We did not have reservations-so our only option was The Patio at Emilio's. No worries-it was amazing. When I read reviews of the restaurant Emilio's I wish that we could have at least seen the inside-but they were very clear that we were sitting outside....The server helped us find a perfect spot with a light breeze. The Beet salad that 3 of us chose was absolutely amazing. Hubby's classic burger was also very good. We had a daiquiri and planters punch which were both well made. Highly recommend after a fun day at Rainforest Adventures!!More

We went for lunch, amazing food and service. We drove, but we saw many cruise passengers who took a bus, so very accessible. The property also serves for a zip line company which was fun to watch from the patio. The restaurant and property are...very beautiful and has a nice, relaxing vibe. We got the pitcher of sangria with white wine, so refreshing. My husband had the duck spring rolls and steak and I ordered the beet and goat cheese salad and the fried snapper, both were phenomenal. There's a small museum of a old home and cute gift shop as well. We were so glad we went.More
