More than a restaurant it´s the experience you get in this top rated restaurant. The service is fantastic, the atmosphere and design delightful and the food is out of this world!! Me and my girlfriend went to this fabulous restaurant and had the culinary highlight of our 10 day trip to Italy. Overall food and culture defines this wonderful country,... More

Impeccabile.... perfect service, great food (well it was expected, but still ..it met the high expectations) and extensive wine list (as well as amazing sommelier :)) A very good overall experience and perfected to the detail. Also very flexible/ customer oriented - As we didn't want the whole tasting menu (too late for too many dishes) we could choose only... More

We were living near Padua and decided last minute to go to Le Calandre for lunch. We had just been at Osteria Francescana and was fun to contrast the two experiences. The team at Le Calandre seemed to have more passion and energy. They prepared a custom tasting menu for us - each dish tasted great, was well thought out,... More

One of the best meals of my 77 y/o life. Every aspect was extraordinary including the glassware which cost me a fortune to bring home. If you are a true foodie, a 2 hour drive is worth your while. not to be missed MATT SLOAN

Alajmos Il Calandrio is located at Rubano abt 10 km from Padova and it is worth a visit. Amazing place with elegant decor resembeling Venetian old tavern. The working team is relaxed and professional. Food is superb . We visted bistro on 13.06.2016.For starters we had "cicchetti "and for second dish my wife tasted the "Dish of the day "... More

Amazing service and delicious food. We had the Chef's menu, meaning a special selection of dishes and ate there for lunch. Highly recommend the raw beef tartare with truffles and the mozzarella ricotta cannoli. Also some of the best bread in a restaurant I've tasted. Defiantly worth the visit.

We visited Le Calandre in June 16. On entering there is a friendly attendant who escorts you to a table (strangely walking past an open office). Décor in the main dining room is understated and dark colours prevail, the chairs are tub like with low backs thereby comfortable but may not be great for a larger person (in height or... More

This restaurant is very good, but not as good as other 3 Michelin star restaurants we had visited before. We order chef's menu. Of course dishes are small, but after 11 courses, it is too much of everything. And for 3 stars Michelin restaurant they have to change napkins before desert, or your desert smell like a fish. Maybe it... More
