I had to try Papadakis as well. I had a fish meal which was excellent prepared en good tasting. The bread following the meal was baked in olive oil and had lovely spices. For the first time I tasted Rethymnon Blonde. A very good tasting beer. At Papadakis, and other places in Kissamos, the waiters did not walk. They ran.

During my one week long vacation, we were here every day. We ate fresh fish, traditional cretan cuisine and tasty salads. The staff is fast and friendly, and the view is breathtaking.

Our family of three has visited this place numerous times before. This year it was very different. Poor service. Unacceptable delivery time and when this was noted police was called without any reason. Avoid the place. Average food and too much work for the staff making them vulnerable to un unconstructive stress!

Probably the nicest traditional tavern in Kissamos. Friendly and efficient service, accompanied by good food. The cretan salad was huge and delicious. The beetroot salad was very tasteful as well.

When a fish restaurant has stood on the same spot for more than half a century and it's busy with evening diners enjoying the cooling sea breezes you get a fair idea the people running it have a pretty good idea of what they're doing. And you wouldn't be wrong. This places hums along like a well-oiled machine with waiters... More

In our 2 weeks stay in Kissamos, having tried many restaurants this is definitely one of the best we ate at. The restaurant is right in front of the sea. Any food you order is delicious, tasty and well presented. Big choice of seafood and local specialities. You feel immediately how fresh the products are. The service is very efficient... More
