This was going to be our farewell dinner after two weeks in Mexico. We followed the advice of Tripadvisor and were in for quite a disappointment. My wife's chicken was ok, but the sirloin steak I had at 205 pesos was the toughest and most insipid piece of meat I had in these two weeks. Not a good experience!

If you're looking for ambience and locals, this is it. The food is simple- think bocaditos or appetizers instead of a heavy meal, or dessert! the drinks are plentiful- you can choose from many kinds of tequila, or a bucket of beer on ice. On weekends there is live music, folk music. It's place that locals like to go for... More

We ate at the La Casa de los Milagros because of the review in our Lonely Planet book and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant is centrally located, only a few blocks from our hotel. It is a beautiful old building and has a wonderful ambience. Food was really good as were the drinks. Certainly a place you could visit more... More

We came to this restaurant by accident. It was late and other restaurants near our hotel were closed. There is a very friendly atmosphere, really unique. The food was tasty, but we had to wait long time for service. It's worth to eat a dinner there.

Good botanas and a really good new York steak done just the way I like it. Decent service. Terrific atmosphere. I'd go back and I'd recommend it to friends.

My wife and I headed a couple of doors down from our hotel to check this place out. She went for a club sandwhich and I went for the the filet steak. The club sandwich was ok but the steak was great. 250 gm of fillet perfectly cooked with baked potato, creamed chillis, mushrooms and a smoked jalapeño. A fantastic... More

Found this place in the L.P where it was recommended highly so thought we'd give it a try. It's housed in a colonial building with seating inside and also outside in the central courtyard. It's nicely decorated with art on the walls and ornaments scattered around. The service was pretty bad to begin with. We came in and sat down.... More
