Called in for a quick lunch: the cooked meals looked good....We tried the pies which were ok: the apple strudel which wasn't so good... Next time would order from the menu... Staff pleasant and efficient.

We've had morning tea and lunch here. Food is reasonable cafe style, a little slow in coming and service mixed. Plenty of seats inside and out and good for families.

Situated in a fairly remote place, this was an awesome find - didn't have the coffee unfortunately - but the Caramel ANZAC slice was absolutely divine - hate to think the amount of calories I have now to burn off - but it tasted absolutely gorgeous. Staff were friendly and nice.

Glenorchy is a lovely town and the lodge is a great spot for lunch. The frittata, pies and sandwiches were all delicious.

We got to Glenorchy for skydiving and horse back riding. Stop at thia cafe for lunch. Well, there were 2 restaurants/cafe in town so we got to pick one or another. We got lucky probably! This cafe was wonderful. Nice outdoor and indoor seats. The food was absolutely fabulous. The beef burger was one of the best I have had... More

We're so glad you had such a good time in Glenorchy. We think our fish and chips and burgers are well worth the drive up the lake (and are glad you enjoyed the skydiving and horses, too). More

We drove to Glenorchy for lunch and picked The Lodge. Easy parking and easy to find a table. Choice was not massive but enough for all uf us to find something. I had the Soup of the day with a smoked chicken melt and my daughter had fish and chips. Food came out quick and all dishes were yummy.

Met friends here for a drink and was talked into having the blue cod.. And thank goodness we did.. The fish and chips were clean and crisp and soooo tasty.. Ah you've discovered our blue cod...we think it's pretty special, too. And so glad you were able to have a good meal, meet one of our charmers on the staff, and take in a summer's night. Do come back and see us again sometime soon. More

Jim, we're so very sorry that you had such a long wait and that we weren't able to serve you in time. I'll look into finding out what happened that day as it's most definitely not typical of the service we usually have. Thank you for letting us know and I'm very sorry that we let you down. More

We only stopped here for ice-cream and coffee after our Dart River adventure but we were very pleased with what we got. Three lovely ice-cream cones, one lovely lolly and a really good cup of takeaway coffee. We didn't try the food but it looked good on the neighbouring table!
