We went for Sunday Lunch, for which the proprietors make great claims. We were not disappointed. Our whole meal was excellent, plates were warm and staff courteous and cheerful. We shall probably go again. My only reservation was that the beer, Doom Bar, was cooled.

London like in its delivery of a culinary experience close to Michelin standards. Service and friendly atmosphere to match. Well worth the detour off the M1.

The menu is not wide but it is very original and impressive. It is not cheap though if you join the club there are single choice (always different and interesting) menus on a Tuesday night if you join their mailing list

Mains and deserts provided ample. One had calves liver (no inedible bits0 the other had venison. Both very tasty and tender. We would have liked more green vefetables to help soak up the lovely sauces. Deserts were nice too and interesting.
