Unusual menu: there were about a dozen appetisers (degustation) before our "a la carte" mains and desserts. They were tasty and well presented, but resulted in too much food by the time the entire meal was over. The waiters are noteworthy: they never smiled, they dropped the plates in front of each diner, and whipped them away again before the... More

Don't miss! We enjoyed "menu de la tierra". Nice place and surprising menu. Placed at Plaza Mayor at Ainsa (Huesca) surrounded by beatiful and ancient buidings. Very good service and proper price. Hight quality products.

Ainsa is worth a visit, as a tourist much to see, as a foodie yummy. The Spanish know how to serve excellent food with flare and imagination. The views from this restaurant are breathtaking (even from the ladies 'power room') Yes I agree with another reviewer, the service is too fast, not enabling you to savour each mis bouche properly.... We should have been put off by the smell when we entered the restaurant but as it was number 1 on TA we decided to give it a go. The smell was of drains - I think! The welcome was lack lustre although the restaurant looks quite nice. The food was a joke ! Everything was served in some ridiculous... More

Definitely a great choice when dining in Ainsa. Some of the most unique dishes I've ever eaten served with flair. Highly recommended you will not leave hungry or disappointed.

Wonderful gastronomic experience in a magnificent environment (the old city of Aínsa and the prepirenaic surroundings). Lots of work put in the preparation of the different courses, high-quality and regional ingredients, lots of fun (yes, fun!) and professional staff. A must in the region!

Wonderful location in the old city of Ainsa. Innovative and modern food with a link back in time and to the locally produced food from the region. Live it :o)

They have a unique set menu. You can experience many unusual items in a many course dinner. It is noted the restaurant's chef is a renowned top chef from Barcelona. Lovely little town to visit.

Excellent products, creative presentation, olives on a bonsai tree, details that catch the eye, like the plate from the river. Had the Tierra menue, which is the short one. The only suggestion is that it was a lot of food, and mind you with the quality that is not a complaint. Everything delicious and for 35 euro a steal! Ahh... More

I've eaten here several times. The menu hasn't changed much since last year but it is still a great experience. We had the seven course tasting menu which was excellent. For €50 each the price is reasonable for the quality and quantity. The downside - as reported, the service here isn't great. Although the staff try, the elaborate service is... More
