This restaurant deserves its No 1 place. We had the degustation menu and enjoyed an almost never-ending parade of dishes, either themselves quite unusual, or else served in unusual ways, for example tiny lamb chops served on a minature metal grill or orange sorbet in a mock half orange, placed on a tiny plastic juicer or a desert made to... I selected the restaurant as it was the nr 1 on Tripadvisor and the photos of the dishes looked great. We looked at the standard menu and could not believe the price. For starters 4 different tapas and next two dishes and dessert all for 14 euro's. Tapas were greAt and they immediatly anticipated the fact that my wife doen't... More

Sit outside, I do not care how windy it is, the experience is well worth it. The vistas are amazing. Usually you have to choose between having a meal in a great setting or having great food. Not this time. To my surprise the food was innovative, presented beautifully and delicious. i could not believe how inexpensive this meal was... More

Unusual menu: there were about a dozen appetisers (degustation) before our "a la carte" mains and desserts. They were tasty and well presented, but resulted in too much food by the time the entire meal was over. The waiters are noteworthy: they never smiled, they dropped the plates in front of each diner, and whipped them away again before the... More

Don't miss! We enjoyed "menu de la tierra". Nice place and surprising menu. Placed at Plaza Mayor at Ainsa (Huesca) surrounded by beatiful and ancient buidings. Very good service and proper price. Hight quality products.

Ainsa is worth a visit, as a tourist much to see, as a foodie yummy. The Spanish know how to serve excellent food with flare and imagination. The views from this restaurant are breathtaking (even from the ladies 'power room') Yes I agree with another reviewer, the service is too fast, not enabling you to savour each mis bouche properly.... We should have been put off by the smell when we entered the restaurant but as it was number 1 on TA we decided to give it a go. The smell was of drains - I think! The welcome was lack lustre although the restaurant looks quite nice. The food was a joke ! Everything was served in some ridiculous... More

Definitely a great choice when dining in Ainsa. Some of the most unique dishes I've ever eaten served with flair. Highly recommended you will not leave hungry or disappointed.

Wonderful gastronomic experience in a magnificent environment (the old city of Aínsa and the prepirenaic surroundings). Lots of work put in the preparation of the different courses, high-quality and regional ingredients, lots of fun (yes, fun!) and professional staff. A must in the region!

Wonderful location in the old city of Ainsa. Innovative and modern food with a link back in time and to the locally produced food from the region. Live it :o)
