Picked up a hire car from the Airport and stopped round the corner for lunch. Nothing fancy but good wholesome food and a friendly feel. Driving so didn't partake of the local brews.

We've enjoyed yet another good meal in this friendly pub while on our way to Manchester Airport. The food was as good as always and everyone was pleased with the choices they made from the interesting menu.

A nice lunch and it was just about warm enough to sit outside. I had the half roast chicken with sweet potato fries. The outside area was a nice place to sit and chat.

Not sure what I expected but I had a delicious meal. I had pea and spring onion tortellini. It was so vibrant and tasty. The Guinness is great too. Would go back there in a heart beat!
