My family and I had visit this restaurant for the past 15 years during our vacations in Italy. We always get a great service, and eat one of the best foods in the area. We usually order the same fish related plates: antipasto, pasta/risotto, and an entire oven roasted fish. It is always fresh and delicious. Their house white wine... More

Having taken the advise of trip advisor (Number 1 restaurant in Sapri!) we visited Lucifero one evening during our visit to the area. This review should have been brief. Great food, great atmosphere and great service....HOWEVER.... Things went very badly wrong when it came to il conto. We both sat in disbelief as it took 45 minutes for the waiting... More

Very nice room in center of town. Bread & oil to start were great. Special pasta with gamberetti was extraordinary. Salad also - very fresh and creative. Most of the mixed seafood was excellent, but a few pieces were poor. The grilled swordfish was mediocre at best. House recommended a Luigi Maffini Fiano that was one of the best Italian... More

Excellent food. A great stop if you are in sapri. Try the pizza mix and the COZZE. Ask for the house wine

Had a great meal on our first night in Sapri, menus are all in Italian at every restaurant so we found it difficult ordering but the waitress helped as much as she could. Would recommend.

I'm working about a hour from Sapri. It's Sunday so thought I'd go for a drive. Sapri was as dead as a dodo. I was about to leave and saw on Trip advisor Lucifero, I thought it was closed but went in. Great food. I had antipasto mare and Linguine with clams. Both really good. Would not come back to... We enjoyed our meals here so much Lucifero was one of the highlights of our stay in Sapri. The restaurant is slit into two-one half a big open space, the other more intimate. Lucifero serves a wide range from pizzas in wood fired oven to shellfish and fish platters, from €6 to €40 ish. Good pasta dishes too. Very good... More

This is the real Italy where the locals dine. The restaurant was packed for lunch and we were the only tourists in the place. In addition to a large menu of traditional Italian food, they serve great steaks. Just loved this place. We had a great meal with wine for three people and the bill was only 54 Euros.

Very homely restaurant in Sapri. Nice food, very nice steak. Service a little slow, but our Italian poor and communication was limited. Despite this we had a lovely meal and would recommend to other family's like us.

We have been to the restaurant last evening due to the rating on tripadvisor. The food was good but not excellent. I can recommend the "Tiramisu della casa" which was very fresh and tasty. Disapointing was the service, we had to wait very long to get water and the menu to make our order. To wait for the dishes took... More
