Busy restaurant, food was not up to expectations of fresh seafood, etc. Probably better for a large group that can sample multiple menu items.

Visited, based on some reviews I read but was in for a shock. Asked to have the Tuna medium cooked, but ended up receiving it rare and cold in the middle. (apparently had been chucked out of the freezer and onto the grill. Further more, mixed sea food was an utter joke, with only a couple of deep fried calamari... More

This restaurant has an interesting and broad menu. Our first primo was gnocchi with gorgonzola and pistacchio - from paradise! Then, we had involtini of spada (very nice) and tuna in pistacchio crust (disappointing, too dry due to single side crust). Desserts were acceptable. A couple of days later, we had a polpo salad (tender and tasty) and pizzas as... More

We like to explore a town's various eateries, but there was no reason to not return to this spot high above the town (but just a few steps from our B and B). A friendly (but not overly so) staff, interesting menu with vegetarian options. Pizzas are done " al forno con legno", or in a wood-fire oven, increasingly rare... More

Good restaurant close to B&B la terrazza. Nice terrace but was protected due to the heavy wind that evening. Antipasti de la casa was great with mix of sea food. Waiter was caring.

This restaurant is set on the hillside a little above Marettimo port. It is not easy to find, having only one inconspicuous sign at the end of the road leading to it, but we recommend that you persevere. Any local can direct you. Reservations are essential at busy times including evening weekends. The restaurant is spacious, unlike many where the... More

Food was fantastic, wines were great, excellence in combining typical ingredients of the sicilian tradition. I wish they had couscous when I went but I ended up having an incredibly good pasta dish named "strozzapreti mille e una notte".....the tuna steak with pistacchio was also outstanding.

Strolling around the lovely village of Marettimo you will bump on many restaurant insignas, but we suggest to extend your search uphill, in the upper part of the hamlet, just to find this little pearl. Ask for a table with a view, enjoy the fantastic flavors of the traditional food and Sicily wines (warmly suggested to order a bottle, rather... More

This family takes great care not only to use the best ingredients, but to combine them in such a way that shows they care. There is a talented chef in that kitchen, and it is evident in the taste of the food. Not only is the food wonderful, but the atmosphere is romantic and relaxed - high above the town,... More
