This restaurant is everything you would want a vineyard eatery to be. They offer excellent wine grown on property. The food too is absolutely delicious. Excellent service and the staff tries their best to accommodate requests and make you feel comfortable. The views of the vineyard while dining outside are breathtaking.

This is very beautiful and unique place to try wine and food. Staff is very professional and helpful. Wines were just great but the food was only good. It was not unique as we expected. Presentation and description is much better than taste. The place itself is so idillic and beautiful so it was great to spend there lovely afternoon... More

Nowadays this a tourist trap where even if you make a reservation for 8, you are treated as crap, let alone dropping by with no reservation. Service is so unfriendly, inattentive and unprofessional that examples are superfluous. This was a great place to bring friends and family visiting from abroad. You could get to Viña Casas del Bosque and depending... More

Stopped by Casas Del Bosque and had lunch at Tanino. The appetizer and various dishes were good. Each dish was about $US 20.00 and the portion was adequate. We also enjoyed the wine there as well.

I positively reviewed this restaurant in 2015, but now I'm less sure about it. The food prices have significantly increased (over $20 for the mains) and I'm not sure the quality of the food is good enough for that price. That said, the wine is still good (the shop prices are reasonable) and the setting very attractive. Still, if you... More

We had a wine tour and tasting at Casas Del Bosque followed by lunch at Tanino. The food was beautifully prepared with wonderful flavors and sauces. The atmosphere on the patio was just lovely overlooking the vineyards. Everything appeared to be completely made from scratch so it is not a fast dining experience though it was excellent so worth the... More

We arrived for an English wine tour but could not do because of the timing. So we had lunch instead. Just finished the 4course meal with wine pairings. A must, if you visit here. Food was impeccable- fresh, delicious, and beautiful presentation. The service was more than adequate. Had managers that ran the place as it should be run. This... More

We stopped here on our way from Valparaiso to Santiago for a wine tour and lunch. Winery is beautiful, wine is excellent. We chose to have the 2 share plates on the menu, one hot and one cold. We were told this would be plenty of food for the 4 of us and a good variety to try. After waiting... More

The place is beautiful!... BUT, they really want you to have the chef's selection...if you decide not to, then they get angry and change their face to mad ones.... We went there for my friend's lunch birthday, and when asked for a candle to sign, they basically said "we don't do birthdays here"... that is so not nice if you... More

Restaurant Tanino's menu is prepared by our Chef, Alvaro Larraguibel together with Grant Phelps, our Winemaker Chief , who seek the perfect balance between our gastronomy and our excellent Casas del Bosque wines, using only fresh ingredients coming from local farmers to achieve preparations plenty of flavors, textures, and at the same time in harmony with our wines.
