More of a typical roadside 'shokudo'. You buy a ticket with your choice from the machine, hand it to one of the ladies and choose a seat at the red and white checkered plastic napkin tables. Water and tea are self service. Lots of people ;taxi and lorry drivers rushing in for a quick bite (always a good sign) and... More

This is as legit as it gets for a soba place. Great noodles for about $6 a pop. Go in, buy a ticket from the machine, get one of the 600 yen tickets for the best sobas they have. Be careful if you can't read Japanese as they also have pasta and just rice (if I remember correctly curry also)... More

This place has the best Soba Noodles you will find. They do a great job, the flavors is that intense. This is not a fancy place by any means, so if you are looking for fancy or modern this is not the place for you. It is very old school, I am sure nothing about it has changed. It has... More

This may be the most popular soba house in the City of Nago. The place is popular with locals, as well as, the tourist crowd. It's best to check the parking lot, to see how busy the establishment looks, before entering. At certain times, seating may not be available. Even when it is busy, service is fast and efficient so,... More

If you like soba with pork bones, large or small youre fine. thats the menu plus curry rice and spaghetti with toast! what they do, they do well as judged by the number of tourists and locals alike packed in, but there isnt a lot of choice.

Miyazato Soba is one of the oldest Soba Restaruants in Okinawa. While it may not have the most modern visage, it is old fashioned and probably still looks the same as it did many many years ago. Inside, you can see some large photos of how it was years ago in Nago. You simply go inside, pay for as ticket... More

At the entrance, you buy the ticket(s) at the machine 3 full size noodle soups and 1 a half size as well as the spaghetti with bread or bread itself or the steamed rice. Sit at the table and lady will either collect the ticket at the table or you give the ticket at the counter, they she will serve... More
