Nice atmosphere, seems like it is pretty family friendly also. Steak and lobster and kids meals are available. They offer good creamy mushroom soup with every meal. Also its nice to get a few mini home made pies to go for dessert after you leave!

There are better places to eat. Nothing really wrong with Flipper, just nothing really right either. We actually had planned to go to the burger place next door, but it was closed, oh well.

Came to the restaurant near the closing time yet service was still prompt and typical of a Japanese restaurant. Ordered a Tenderloin steak and a cheeseburger. Steak was done to my required doneness and was delicious, but the cheeseburger is very average. Price was lower than other famous steakhouses like Steakhouse 88.

I heard about the pies here, so gave them a try. They were okay. Would have been better is they had been warm and fresh. Fillings were apple, blueberry, blueberry cheese and another I can't remember now.

Felt like a classic steak and seafood place, which was nice to find -- the prices were good and the beer was very cold! Both my wife and I were happy with our meals and the service was very good.

They make the best mini pies that I have frequented to visit this place at least once a month while working in Okinawa for 18 years. Good seating for dinners overlooking the East China Sea. Very nice place to enjoy the dinner and the sunset. Since the main 58 road has been directed to the opposite side, this restaurant seems... More

My husband and I visited this restaurant for Thanksgiving. The service was fast and kind and the atmosphere was log-cabin tavern style. I ordered the filet and lobster set and my husband ordered the jumbo filet set. The salad and soup was a great starter. The homemade ginger salad dressing was delicious. Our steaks came out and they were properly... More

I stopped here on my way back from the aquarium.. It is a cash only place I wanted to use a card but I was hungry... I ordered the steak and Lobster it came with a bowl of chowder and a nice salad with a very tasty dressing. The steak was cooked perfectly and the half lobster was surprisingly tasty..... More

Upon hearing about the hype of Flippers, I decided I had to swing by. Upon entering, I noticed their pie stand directly in the entryway and waiting area, in-front of the cash register, which is a brilliant placement strategy. Their small and in-expensive pies are of very good quality, although some had been out for just a few too many... More

As soon as you walk into Flipper, you feel as if it's a five star establishment and this place lives up to expectations. A friend and I had heard about Flipper from others who had been there. The rumors were, that it was a bit pricey. They are just rumors. We both ordered the pork dinner. It was only about... More
