Visited tonight as a thank you present from my gorgeous son and his girlfriend, great service lovely food, you could tell they needed more support and staff but Antonia and her colleagues literally put there all into being professional and accommodating!
I would definitely recommend...giving Olivers a visitMore
Been wanting to try this restaurant for ages after lots of good reviews. The restaurant is so well decorated. Our waitress informed us it was her first time taking orders but she did very well & asked for help if needed instead of giving us...the wrong information. Lots of choice on the menu but personally the portion sizes were really small (pasta) even for a lunch time. The food was lovely though but the garlic bread was lacking garlic flavour.
I would however just say we weren’t particularly happy being in COVID times with the staff bringing over our drinks in their hands and arms rather than on a tray.
Overall was happy and will be backMore
Lunch was perfectly acceptable however we were the only people I there for quite a while . When we called for the bill it was a long wait and then when we tried to pay , the card machine played up . The waiter made...his excuses and said machine needed to be rebooted ( not a problem )however 45 mins later they came back and advised us machine broken and would we go to Tesco to pay cash . The attitude was appalling . I advised We had been told to b pay by card due to Covid and no I was going somewhere I didn’t know . They then me to make a trf which I agreed however the bank details were rejected by my bank saying didnt match . Then gave me a new set of details ( they did work ) not even a coffee was offered as a way of an apology . Shocking customer service never will I go backMore
My mum attended Oliver's with her 2 friends last night for an evening meal. She said the food was well presented and the staff were attentive and helpful. My mum and her 2 friends thoroughly enjoyed their evening. My mum had the Halibut which she...said was very tasty.More
Had dinner tonight with my mum and sister and the service was exceptional from start to finish. Attentive, chatty, friendly young staff. Amazing food, very good value for money. Sat outside and the two young lads and Caitlin couldn’t do enough for us.
Been on...my doorstep all this time and so glad we tried it. We’re already planning our next visit and will be making it a regular thing. Really great place!More
Just been to Oliver’s Italian with my family for a birthday meal! The setting is beautiful and the staff are fantastic as is the food
We really enjoyed our afternoon!!
We have eaten here a few times before and never disappoints
I came with a group of my girls yesterday. The restaurant is beautiful and well laid out. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and beyond accommodating. Have no faults at all and will be returning.
Visited for a midweek (al fresco) meal. Disappointed by the inability of waiting staff to correctly record orders - repeating orders back to customers is a rudimentary aspect of table service and avoids unnecessary, silly mistakes. The so-called filet steak was more akin to a...rump and had been grilled to kingdom come despite me asking for it to be cooked “medium rare”. Fellow guest’s steak was equally as over-cooked. I regularly order steak when dining out in a range of settings and I honestly cannot remember the last time I was served one as disappointing as this. The prawn starter was over-cooked and served on a cremated slab of toast, which left a bad taste in the mouth. This place used to be reasonably good, but I can only assume that there has been a change-up in the kitchen department because this fell well below par. The immodest prices certainly aren’t justified but the poor quality of the food.More
