Staff friendly and welcoming. Great lunch with friends and reasonable prices. The owner even turned the music down for my friend.

I went on a Thursday night on the £18ish for 3 courses deal. Really enjoyed the meal and a nice beer from the local brewery at Dunham Massey. It was very busy when we first arrived at 7.30 so I'm glad we booked. Planning to head back on Wednesday some time for the bring your own wine night (bargain booze... More

Expected more from this restaurant...Food and the service were below average. Very open room which was extremely noisy so it was not the most relaxing meal. We also found the chairs uncomfortable. Wouldn't revisit. 👎

Went with family for a close friend 40th Birthday. Have to say the food and service was excellent, the staff were very attentive to our needs. Originally booked a table for six then at the last minute someone else asked to join us, this was no problem. The food was well cooked and we didn't have to wait long for... More

We first went here for dinner when we moved into the area over a year ago and have been 8-10 times since! If your looking for good food with good portions and at a reasonable price, here is what you are looking for. Nice pub next door (The Plough) so head in their afterwards for a few drinks to finish... Wow! What more can I say. Considering this is smallish Restaurant I cannot praise them enough on their amazing service and the tastiest Wedding Breakfast my hubby and I have ever had. The tables were all laid out crisp and clean. Starched napkins, polished cutlery and sparkling glassware. Full condiments of sea salt and black pepper (a pet hate when... More

The Fat Loaf restaurant in Sale is an absolute find and a local favourite. The brainchild of chefs Paul Taylor and Tim Wood who trained under Michelin-starred Marco Pierre White at the Lowry, The Fat Loaf is a brilliant bistro. The open kitchen lets you watch them work. Sourcing is taken seriously – local wherever possible, excellent at all times. The menu is modern European prepared with imagination and flair. It’s perfectly set in a storefront restaurant with slate floors, white chairs, neutrally coloured walls and an array of art photography on display. Formerly a bring-your-own-wine place, The Fat Loaf now offers a short, thoughtful, international wines list at prices so reasonable you’ll have to blink
