Lovely place, not what it seems from the outside. Busy inside but not to loud. Service was excellent, food was delicious. Reasonable price. Will be going again

Arrived at 8, waited 20 mins then had to ask for drinks, smoke alarms soon started going off every 30 seconds very loud for the next ten minutes, staff didn't have a clue what to do until a diner took them off the ceiling. Empty glasses left on table. Poor service for an expensive meal. On a plus side, the... More

Arrived 6.30 Saturday evening for family meal. Fairly quiet but soon very busy. Ambience still good when busy - not overly noisy. Refurbishment very stylish and modern but classy. Staff friendly and attentive but not gushing. Food good and well served. My steak was the best I've had for a very long time. Gambas pil pil disappointing - not sizzling... More

Whilst the food was good the prices hinted at a more upmarket experience, which it wasn't. House wine at £16 a bottle is more than We normally pay. A home made burger at £13 is above the norm, and it was tasty but strangely tough to chew. Two Roast Rump of Cheshire lamb at £19 each! One ordered well done,... More

We enjoyed a wonderful meal with a really welcoming atmosphere. The ambience is lovely with a real fresh and cosmopolitan look, the menu was more than enough but not too extensive to make you think it's pre-made, which it obviously was not! The food was outstanding! Highly recommended and a good early evening menu from the looks of it: we... More

Went for first time after it had been refurbished for our wedding anniversary. Food was ok apart from lamb which I asked for pink & came over cooked. Then went to toilet & no toilet roll in the ladies so asked for more, only one toilet replenished! Apparently no toilet roll left! Really disappointed & would not go back there again,... More

Having never fancied the look of Chez Nous my fiancé and I took a chance as we were aware of the recent refurbishment. Well, we found it faultless. Granted we were there on a Monday night which is notoriously quiet for restaurants but there were a fair few customers in. Food was outstanding with sensibly sized portions.......especially the cheese board... More
