Came here for lunch and walked right in at 1pm while there was a huge line of tourists at Yakigaki. Lots of seating upstairs or traditional seating on main floor. Husband and I split the Kakiya set which had oysters 5 ways (¥2150) and the fried oyster set (¥1620). Great way to get a taste of a oysters in different... More

We had grilled oysters with rice. Overall they were really good but could have used a dipping. Honestly I still like my oysters raw with a nice vinaigrette.

One of the 2 better restaurants to have the famous grill oysters in Miyajima. They grill the oysters at the entrance of the restaurant. Can be crowded during lunch, I ate at 230pm so I didn't have to queue up. It is not open for dinner. They serve seasonal oysters around Hiroshima. When I was there in early Oct, they... More

A must go for lunch after seeing the Itsukushima shrine. A Japanese restaurant with a minimal and modern setting. You can try oysters cooked in different styles.

We took the set menu that includes different types of oysters (in oil, grilled, crumbled and fried, bbq, in red miso soup) and it was well worth the splurge. For just above 2000 yen per person, oyster lovers will be amazed. Highly recommended.

We went there on 1230 on a Monday and was seated almost immediately. We had the special grilled oysters, the special crumbed n fried oysters, and the cooked oysters on rice. The special oysters are only 100 yen per piece more than the normal ones so we recommend spending the extra as it is really a jumbo size! I really... More

My family of four and another family of five came here for a late lunch on our day trip to Miyajima. The food was wonderful. My husband had a "set" meal that had oysters prepared in about four different ways. I had oysters on rice, my eldest daughter had the fried oysters, and my youngest daughter was accommodated with fried... More

There are a lot of places for osyters in the area and the jumbo-sized offered in this restaurant are really good. They also have their own oyster sauce to bring back as souvenir.

Very valuable. You can taste deep fired, roasted, steam oyster. Fresh and good taste. Do try their set meal and order a glass of white wine.

Delicious oysters. The fried is the best for a non oyster eater. I personally enjoyed the charcoal grilled premium. Don't forget to finish with the shaved ice.
